2002-2006 Acura RSX DC5 Tucked Fuel Feed Line Kit (Level 1)
The JBtuned Level 1 RSX DC5 Fuel System upgrades the engine-bay fuel feed while retaining the vehicle's factory chassis fuel supply and factory in-tank fuel-filter arrangement.
The kit replaces the engine-bay feed connection with a 6AN JBtuned 350 Series PTFE fuel line running from the OEM chassis fuel line to a compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail.
This is Level 1 in the JBtuned RSX fuel-system lineup: “I just need the feed line.”

What Comes With the Level 1 Kit
- Pre-assembled 6AN JBtuned 350 Series PTFE engine-bay fuel-feed line
- JBtuned anodized-aluminum quick-connect adapter for the OEM RSX chassis fuel line
- Required line-side connection hardware for the configured Level 1 fuel feed
A compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail is required and is not included with this kit.
Fuel-rail-specific adapter hardware is not included because aftermarket fuel rails use different port and connection configurations.
What Level 1 Changes
Level 1 replaces only the engine-bay portion of the fuel feed.
The factory RSX chassis fuel supply and factory in-tank fuel-filter arrangement remain in service.
The JBtuned PTFE feed line connects the OEM chassis fuel line to a compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail using a 6AN engine-bay fuel-feed configuration.
This kit does not add a dedicated fuel return and does not replace the complete fuel plumbing from the tank to the engine.
350 Series PTFE - Pump Gas / E85 / Compatible Race Fuels
The RSX Level 1 Fuel Feed Line uses JBtuned 350 Series PTFE hose with a PTFE liner, stainless reinforcement and black nylon outer braid.
350 Series PTFE is appropriate for:
- Conventional pump gasoline
- E85 and ethanol-based fuels
- Compatible race fuels
- Gasoline builds that may move to ethanol-based fuel later
Choosing PTFE does not mean the vehicle has to run E85.
PTFE fuel plumbing and sensor-based flex-fuel engine management are also separate considerations. If an ethanol-content sensor is being used, the sensor, wiring, compatible ECU strategy, configuration and tuning are separate from the Level 1 fuel-feed line.
Aftermarket K-Series Fuel Rail Required
The RSX Level 1 kit is designed to connect the factory chassis fuel supply to a compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail.
It is not designed to connect directly to the original RSX fuel-rail configuration.
Because aftermarket fuel rails use different port styles and connection arrangements, the rail-specific adapter is not included with this kit.
Before installation, confirm that the selected aftermarket fuel rail has the appropriate hardware or connection provision for a 6AN fuel feed.

Tucked Engine-Bay Fuel-Line Routing
The JBtuned Level 1 feed line is designed to provide routing flexibility for a cleaner, more tucked engine-bay fuel-line installation.
Final routing depends on the intake manifold, fuel rail, engine mounts, turbo system, exhaust configuration and other components installed in the engine bay.
Keep the fuel line as far away as practical from the exhaust manifold, turbocharger, downpipe and other high-temperature components.
Turbocharged and other high-heat applications may require additional thermal protection depending on the final fuel-line routing.

Which RSX Fuel System Should I Choose?
Choose Level 1 if you want to upgrade the engine-bay fuel feed while continuing to use the factory chassis fuel supply and in-tank filter arrangement.
Choose Level 4 if you want to replace the original chassis fuel feed and convert the vehicle to a complete aftermarket feed-and-return fuel system from the tank to the engine and back.
Installation Notes
- The factory chassis fuel supply and in-tank filter arrangement remain in use.
- The Level 1 kit replaces only the engine-bay fuel-feed connection.
- A compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail is required.
- Verify that the fuel rail has the appropriate connection hardware for the 6AN feed before installation.
- Route the fuel line away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving components and other potential heat or abrasion sources.
- After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect every connection for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Changes to fuel type, fuel pressure, injectors, fuel pump or other engine-management components may require appropriate ECU configuration and tuning.
Professional installation and tuning are recommended where applicable.
