Product Description
EG / EK Civic, DC Integra & Del Sol K-Swap OEM Filter-to-Rail Fuel Line - K20 / K24 (Level 1)
The JBtuned Level 1 K-Swap OEM Filter-to-Rail Fuel Line is the simplest fuel-system solution for EG and EK Honda Civics, DC Acura Integras and Honda Del Sols running a K20 or K24 engine swap.
Level 1 retains the vehicle's factory chassis fuel supply and OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter while replacing the engine-bay feed connection from the filter to a compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail.
This is Level 1 in the JBtuned K-Swap fuel-system lineup: “I just need it running.”

Exact connection components vary based on the aftermarket fuel rail selected when ordering.
The aftermarket fuel rail is required and is not included with the Level 1 kit.
Required Part Not Included
Aftermarket K-Series Fuel Rail: Level 1 requires a compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail. Select the fuel rail installed on your engine when ordering so JBtuned can configure the appropriate connection.
Different K20 and K24 fuel rails use different connection configurations. If your fuel rail is not listed or your swap uses an unusual engine, intake manifold or fuel-rail combination, contact JBtuned before ordering.
What Level 1 Changes
Level 1 upgrades only the engine-bay fuel feed while leaving the existing chassis fuel supply and OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter in place.
The JBtuned fuel line connects the outlet of the factory Honda fuel filter to the selected aftermarket K-Series fuel rail. No dedicated engine-bay return line or external fuel pressure regulator is added as part of the Level 1 configuration.
This makes Level 1 the starting point for a straightforward K-swap fuel system when you want to retain the factory chassis fuel arrangement rather than convert immediately to a dedicated feed-and-return system.
Retains the OEM Honda Firewall Fuel Filter
Level 1 is specifically designed around the factory firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter.
The original chassis fuel feed continues to supply the OEM filter, and the JBtuned Level 1 line continues from the filter outlet to the aftermarket K-Series fuel rail.
If you want to remove the OEM firewall filter and move to a cleaner tucked engine-bay arrangement, Level 3 is the appropriate architecture.
250 Series Fuel Hose - Pump Gasoline
The Level 1 K-Swap Fuel Line uses JBtuned 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose and is intended for conventional pump-gasoline applications.
250 Series hose is not intended for continuous or full-time E85 use.
If the vehicle will regularly run E85, ethanol-based race fuel or requires broader long-term fuel compatibility, use the JBtuned Level 4 Complete K-Swap Fuel System with the appropriate 350 Series PTFE configuration.
Fuel compatibility and flex-fuel engine management are separate considerations. PTFE-compatible fuel plumbing alone does not make a vehicle a flex-fuel system.
Vehicle & Engine Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC / DC2
- 1993-1997 Honda Del Sol
- K20 engine swaps
- K24 engine swaps
K-swapped vehicles can use many combinations of engines, intake manifolds and aftermarket fuel rails. Select the correct chassis and fuel rail when ordering so JBtuned can configure the line for the components being used.
Ordering Options
Vehicle / Chassis: Select the Civic, Integra or Del Sol chassis receiving the K-Series swap.
Fuel Rail: Select the aftermarket K-Series fuel rail installed on the engine. Different rails use different connection configurations.
Want to Replace the Factory Chassis Feed Line?
Level 1 normally retains the factory fuel-feed line running from the fuel tank to the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
If you want to replace that chassis feed while keeping the Level 1 architecture, JBtuned offers a matching Tank-to-OEM-Filter Replacement Fuel Line.
The replacement chassis feed continues the Level 1 system from the fuel tank to the OEM firewall filter while allowing the OEM filter and Level 1 engine-bay configuration to remain in place.
This standalone chassis-feed upgrade is intended for Level 1-style systems and is not the recommended chassis upgrade for Levels 2 or 3. Those return-style systems should upgrade the feed and return together.
JBtuned K-Swap Fuel-System Levels
- Level 1 - “I Just Need It Running”: Simple engine-bay feed upgrade using the OEM firewall filter and factory chassis fuel supply. You are here.
- Level 2 - “I Want Feed & Return”: Dedicated return-style engine-bay system that retains the OEM firewall filter and factory chassis feed and return hard lines.
- Level 3 - “I Want It Cleaner / Tucked”: Dedicated return-style system that removes the OEM firewall filter, adds a compact inline filter and retains the factory chassis feed and return hard lines.
- Level 4 - “I Want to Replace Everything”: Complete aftermarket feed-and-return plumbing from the fuel tank to the engine and back, with feed size and hose series selected to match the build.

Which Level Should I Choose?
Choose Level 1 if you want the simplest K-swap fuel-feed solution while retaining the factory chassis fuel supply and OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
Choose Level 2 if you want to convert the engine side to a dedicated return-style system while keeping the OEM firewall filter and factory chassis hard lines.
Choose Level 3 if you want the return-style architecture of Level 2 but also want to remove the large OEM firewall filter for a cleaner tucked engine-bay layout.
Choose Level 4 if you want to replace the factory chassis fuel plumbing with a complete aftermarket feed-and-return system from the fuel tank to the engine and back.
Level 1 Can Grow With the Build
Choosing Level 1 does not mean the vehicle is permanently tied to the original chassis fuel-feed line.
If the goal is simply to replace the aging factory chassis feed while keeping the Level 1 pump-gas architecture, the Tank-to-OEM-Filter Replacement Fuel Line allows that section to be upgraded separately.
If you later want to convert the K-Series engine side to a dedicated return-style fuel system, Level 2 is the appropriate next step.
If you already know you want complete aftermarket chassis plumbing or long-term E85 compatibility, starting with Level 4 and selecting the appropriate feed size and hose series may make more sense than progressively upgrading the lower levels.
Installation Notes
- This product replaces the engine-bay fuel connection between the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter and the aftermarket K-Series fuel rail.
- Inspect the existing fuel filter, chassis fuel line and surrounding components before installation.
- Route the fuel line away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving parts and areas where excessive heat or abrasion may damage the hose.
- After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect all fuel connections for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive fuel plumbing or K-Series engine swaps.
