Product Description
EG / EK Civic, DC Integra & Del Sol J-Series Swap OEM Filter-to-Rail Fuel Line (Level 1)
The JBtuned Level 1 J-Series Swap Fuel Line provides the engine-bay fuel-feed connection needed to install a compatible Honda J-Series engine in an EG or EK Civic, DC Integra or Honda Del Sol while retaining the vehicle's existing chassis fuel supply and OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
The system connects the OEM Honda firewall fuel filter to the compatible factory-style J-Series fuel rail and regulator arrangement without converting the vehicle to a complete aftermarket return-style fuel system.
This is Level 1 in the JBtuned J-Series fuel-system lineup: “I just need the feed line.”

What Comes With the Level 1 Fuel Line
- Pre-assembled JBtuned engine-bay fuel-feed line
- Connection components for the OEM Honda firewall-mounted fuel filter
- Connection components for the compatible factory-style J-Series fuel system
- Required connection hardware for the configured fuel line
Exact connection components may vary depending on the chassis and supported J-Series configuration.
What Level 1 Changes
Level 1 replaces only the engine-bay fuel-feed connection needed to integrate the J-Series engine with the earlier Honda chassis.
The factory chassis fuel supply remains in service and continues to feed the OEM firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter.
The JBtuned fuel line then connects the outlet of that filter to the compatible factory-style J-Series fuel rail and regulator arrangement.
This kit does not add a dedicated engine-bay return line, external fuel pressure regulator or complete aftermarket chassis fuel system.
Retains the OEM Honda Firewall Fuel Filter
Level 1 is designed around the OEM firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter already used by the EG, EK, DC and compatible Del Sol chassis.
The existing chassis fuel line continues to supply the factory filter, allowing the chassis-side fuel system to remain in place while the JBtuned line handles the engine-swap connection from the filter to the J-Series engine.
This keeps the installation focused on the connection required by the swap rather than replacing chassis plumbing that may still be appropriate for the build.
Retains the Factory-Style J-Series Fuel Rail & Regulator Arrangement
The JBtuned Level 1 system is designed around a compatible factory-style J-Series fuel rail and regulator configuration.
This allows the engine-side fuel system to remain in its simpler factory-style arrangement rather than converting the vehicle to aftermarket dual fuel rails and external fuel-pressure regulation.
If your J-Series swap uses aftermarket fuel rails, an external adjustable fuel pressure regulator or another custom fuel-system configuration, this Level 1 line may not be appropriate.
Contact JBtuned before ordering if your engine-side fuel system differs from the supported factory-style arrangement.
250 Series - Pump Gasoline
The J-Series Level 1 fuel line uses JBtuned 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose.
JBtuned 250 Series hose is intended for conventional pump gasoline.
250 Series hose is not intended for continuous or full-time E85 use.
If the vehicle is being built for continuous E85, ethanol-based fuels or another application requiring broader long-term fuel compatibility, use an appropriate JBtuned fuel system built with 350 Series PTFE hose.
Vehicle & Engine Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG with compatible J-Series engine swap
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK with compatible J-Series engine swap
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC with compatible J-Series engine swap
- 1993-1997 Honda Del Sol with compatible J-Series engine swap
- Compatible Honda and Acura J-Series engine combinations using the supported factory-style rail and regulator arrangement
Final fitment depends on the J-Series engine, intake manifold, fuel-system configuration and surrounding engine-bay components installed on the vehicle.
If your swap uses aftermarket fuel rails or a custom regulator arrangement, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Want to Replace the Factory Chassis Feed Line Too?
Level 1 normally retains the original chassis fuel-feed line running from the fuel tank to the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
If that original chassis feed is corroded, damaged or simply something you want to replace while retaining the OEM firewall filter, JBtuned also offers the JBtuned Tank-to-OEM-Filter 6AN Fuel Line for compatible applications.
This allows the chassis-side feed to be replaced without changing the basic Level 1 architecture or removing the OEM firewall filter.
The engine-side J-Series configuration remains unchanged.
Need a Complete J-Series Fuel System?
Level 1 is intended for a straightforward J-Series swap using the OEM firewall filter and compatible factory-style J-Series fuel rail and regulator arrangement.
If you want to replace the chassis fuel plumbing and move to aftermarket dual fuel rails, external fuel-pressure regulation and a complete PTFE feed-and-return system, choose the JBtuned J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System (Level 4).
The Level 4 system uses a completely different architecture with an 8AN main feed, dual 6AN fuel-rail feeds, external adjustable fuel-pressure regulation and a dedicated 6AN return.
JBtuned J-Series Fuel-System Levels
- Level 1 - “I Just Need the Feed Line”: Retains the OEM firewall filter, factory chassis fuel supply and compatible factory-style J-Series fuel rail/regulator arrangement while adding the engine-bay feed connection required for the swap. You are here.
- Level 4 - “I Want to Replace Everything”: Replaces the chassis fuel plumbing with a complete JBtuned 350 Series PTFE dual-feed system using an 8AN main feed, dual 6AN fuel-rail feeds, external fuel-pressure regulation and a dedicated 6AN return.
Which J-Series Fuel System Should I Choose?
Choose Level 1 if you want the engine-bay fuel connection required for a straightforward J-Series swap while retaining the OEM firewall filter, factory chassis fuel supply and supported factory-style J-Series fuel system.
Choose Level 4 if you want to replace the chassis fuel plumbing and move to a complete aftermarket dual-feed J-Series fuel system from the fuel tank to both fuel rails and back.
Pump Gas, E85 & Flex-Fuel Considerations
This Level 1 J-Series fuel line uses JBtuned 250 Series hose and is intended for conventional pump-gasoline applications.
If the build will run continuous E85 or another ethanol-based fuel, fuel compatibility must be considered across the entire fuel system, including hose, filters, seals, fuel pumps, regulators and other fuel-contact components.
E85-compatible plumbing is also separate from sensor-based flex-fuel engine management. Ethanol-content sensing, compatible electronics or ECU inputs, configuration and tuning are separate considerations.

Installation Notes
- This product replaces the engine-bay fuel connection between the OEM firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter and the compatible factory-style J-Series fuel system.
- The OEM firewall filter and factory chassis fuel supply remain in service.
- No dedicated return line is added by this kit.
- Inspect the existing fuel filter, chassis feed line, engine-side fuel components and surrounding engine-bay components before installation.
- Older chassis fuel components showing corrosion, deterioration, leakage or other damage should be replaced rather than reused.
- Route the fuel line away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving components and other potential heat or abrasion sources.
- After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect every connection for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive fuel plumbing or J-Series engine swaps.
For off-road use only.
