Product Description
Create a cleaner, more compact radiator hose layout in a B-Series-powered Honda or Acura with the JBtuned B-Series Radiator Hose Tuck Kit.
This DIY fabrication kit uses -16AN plumbing and black nylon-braided hose to replace the bulky appearance of conventional molded radiator hoses with a custom routed cooling-system layout designed to blend into a clean or tucked engine bay.

A Cleaner B-Series Radiator Hose Layout
Traditional molded radiator hoses are functional, but they can become one of the most visually dominant pieces of plumbing in a cleaned-up engine bay.
The JBtuned Radiator Hose Tuck Kit gives builders the components needed to create a custom -16AN radiator hose layout that can be routed more deliberately around the engine bay.
The black hose and fittings create a compact, understated appearance that works especially well with shaved, tucked, and simplified Honda engine bays where minimizing visible plumbing is part of the finished build.
Check Your B-Series Coolant Outlet Location
This kit is designed for B-Series engines with the cylinder-head coolant outlet positioned toward the front of the engine.
For this application, “front” means the coolant outlet is located toward the front bumper side of the cylinder head, in front of the distributor.
This kit is not intended for B-Series configurations where the corresponding coolant outlet is positioned toward the firewall side of the cylinder head, behind the distributor.
Verify the coolant outlet configuration on your engine before ordering.
DIY Fabrication Kit
This is not a preassembled or bolt-on radiator hose kit. It is intended for builders or fabricators creating a custom radiator plumbing layout for their specific engine bay.
Installation requires modification and welding, and the final hose routing will depend on the radiator position, engine configuration, available clearance, and the layout of the individual vehicle.
No step-by-step installation instructions are provided. Fabrication and aluminum welding experience are recommended.
Aluminum Radiator Required
An aluminum radiator is required because the cooling system must be prepared for the supplied AN-style plumbing.
The radiator itself is not included with the kit.
Because this is a fabrication-based system, verify radiator placement, available clearance, and the intended hose routing before permanent modification or welding.
What Is Included?
The kit provides the primary plumbing components needed to fabricate the radiator hose tuck system, including:
- Black -16AN hose ends
- Black nylon-braided radiator hose
- Aluminum -16AN weld-on bungs when the bung option is selected
Radiator, welding, fabrication work, and installation are not included.
Optional No-Bung Configuration
If your radiator or cooling-system components are already prepared for -16AN connections, the kit can be ordered without the aluminum weld-on bungs.
Select the no-bung option only when the required compatible connections are already available for your installation.
Built for Custom and Tucked Engine Bays
The purpose of this kit is not simply to replace a radiator hose with braided hose. It gives the builder greater control over how the cooling-system plumbing is integrated into the engine bay.
With thoughtful fabrication and routing, the radiator lines can follow the surrounding components more naturally and become part of the overall engine-bay layout rather than dominating it visually.
This is a fabrication component system, not a universal bolt-on replacement radiator hose. Final fitment and routing are determined by the vehicle, engine, radiator, and installation.
