Product Description
EF Civic / CRX / DA Integra B-Series Fuel Line Tuck Kit (Level 3)
The JBtuned Level 3 B-Series Fuel Line Tuck Kit upgrades the engine-bay fuel system on compatible 1988-1991 Honda Civic, 1988-1991 Honda CRX and 1989-1993 Acura Integra DA chassis running a B-Series engine.
Level 3 removes the large factory firewall-mounted fuel filter, replaces it with a compact inline filter and upgrades the engine bay to a clean 6AN feed-and-return layout while retaining the vehicle's factory chassis fuel hard lines.
This system follows the JBtuned Level 3 architecture: “I want it cleaner / tucked.”

The 90-degree fuel-pressure-regulator relocator adapter shown in some product photos is not included with this kit.
What Level 3 Changes
Level 3 replaces the engine-bay feed and return plumbing while removing the large factory firewall-mounted fuel filter.
The vehicle's original chassis fuel-feed and fuel-return hard lines remain underneath the car and continue to carry fuel between the engine bay and fuel tank.
This allows the visible engine-bay fuel system to be cleaned up without replacing the complete chassis fuel plumbing.
Modification of the existing chassis fuel-line connection points is required during installation.
Compact Inline Fuel Filter
The Level 3 EF / CRX / DA B-Series Fuel Line Tuck Kit includes a compact e85Freaks inline mini fuel filter in place of the large factory firewall-mounted filter.
- Filter Element: Replaceable 30-micron bronze element
- Seals: Viton
- Construction: Serviceable inline design
The smaller filter allows the feed-side plumbing to fit naturally into the tucked engine-bay layout while retaining a serviceable fuel filter in the system.
6AN Feed & Return Plumbing
Level 3 uses a 6AN engine-bay fuel feed and 6AN engine-bay return.
The JBtuned line assemblies connect the vehicle's existing chassis fuel plumbing to the B-Series fuel rail and regulator configuration selected when ordering.
JBtuned supplies the configured line assemblies and required connection components so you do not have to determine the individual AN fittings and adapters needed to assemble the engine-bay system yourself.
250 Series Fuel Hose - Pump Gasoline
The EF / CRX / DA Level 3 B-Series Fuel Line Tuck Kit uses JBtuned 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose and is intended for conventional pump-gasoline applications.
250 Series hose is not intended for continuous or full-time E85 use.
If the vehicle will regularly run E85, ethanol-based race fuel or requires broader long-term fuel compatibility, a properly configured fuel system using JBtuned 350 Series PTFE hose should be used instead.
Fuel compatibility must be considered across the entire fuel system, including the hose, filter, seals, regulator, fuel pump and other fuel-contact components.
Not sure which hose or fuel configuration is appropriate? Read our guide to E85, PTFE fuel lines and flex-fuel systems.
OEM or Aftermarket B-Series Fuel Rail
The EF / CRX / DA B-Series Fuel Line Tuck Kit can be configured for the factory Honda B-Series fuel rail or compatible aftermarket B-Series fuel rails.
Select the fuel rail installed on the engine when ordering so JBtuned can configure the appropriate fuel-line connections.
If your fuel rail is not represented in the available options, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Fuel Pressure Regulator Configuration
The standard Level 3 system is designed around a rail-mounted fuel pressure regulator.
Depending on the selected fuel-rail configuration, the system can be used with compatible factory-style or aftermarket rail-mounted regulators.
Customers who want to retain a factory-style rail-mounted regulator location while adding adjustable fuel-pressure control can consider the AEM Honda / Acura Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator.
The fuel pressure regulator shown in the product photos is an example installation and is not included with this kit.
Some product photos also show a separate 90-degree fuel-pressure-regulator relocator adapter. This adapter repositions the regulator when additional clearance is needed and is not included with the kit.
The relocator is not required for every installation. Regulator position and clearance requirements vary based on the fuel rail, intake manifold, throttle-body area and other surrounding engine-bay components.
If you are unsure whether your fuel rail and regulator combination is compatible, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Cleaner Tucked Engine-Bay Layout
A fuel tuck system does not mean every fuel hose disappears from view.
The purpose of Level 3 is to reduce unnecessary visual clutter and create a cleaner, more organized fuel-system layout by removing the large firewall-mounted fuel filter and replacing the original engine-bay feed and return plumbing.
Final routing depends on the intake manifold, fuel rail, regulator, header, turbocharger and other components installed in the vehicle.
Vehicle & Engine Fitment
- 1988-1991 Honda Civic EF with B-Series engine swap
- 1988-1991 Honda CRX with B-Series engine swap
- 1989-1993 Acura Integra DA with B-Series engine
- B16 engine combinations
- B18 engine combinations
- B20 engine combinations
- LS/VTEC combinations
- B20/VTEC combinations
- Other compatible Honda B-Series engines
Final fitment depends on the chassis, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, intake manifold, header, turbo system and other surrounding engine-bay components.
If your combination is unusual or your components are not represented in the available options, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Ordering Options
Vehicle / Chassis: Select the EF Civic, CRX or DA Integra chassis receiving the B-Series Fuel Line Tuck Kit.
Fuel Rail: Select the factory Honda or aftermarket B-Series fuel rail installed on the engine. Different rails require different connection configurations.
Inspect the Factory Chassis Fuel Lines
This Level 3 system retains the vehicle's original chassis feed and return hard lines underneath the vehicle.
Because EF Civic, CRX and DA Integra chassis are now several decades old, the condition of the original fuel lines should be inspected carefully before installation.
Factory hard lines showing significant corrosion, physical damage, deterioration or leakage should be replaced rather than reused simply because this kit is designed to connect to them.
If the existing chassis plumbing is no longer suitable for continued service, plan the fuel system around replacement chassis plumbing rather than installing the Level 3 kit onto compromised factory lines.
Not a Complete Chassis Fuel-System Replacement
This kit is specifically an engine-bay Level 3 upgrade.
It removes the factory firewall fuel filter and replaces the engine-bay feed and return plumbing while continuing to use the vehicle's original chassis fuel lines.
If your goal is to replace the entire fuel system from the tank to the engine and back, this is not a complete chassis fuel-system package.
Installation Notes
- Installation removes the factory firewall-mounted fuel filter and replaces the engine-bay feed and return plumbing while retaining the factory chassis fuel hard lines.
- Modification of the existing chassis fuel-line connection points is required.
- Inspect the original chassis hard lines carefully before reuse.
- Fuel lines showing significant corrosion, damage, deterioration or leakage should be replaced.
- All fuel lines must be securely routed away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving parts and areas where excessive heat or abrasion may damage the hose.
- Turbocharged and other high-heat applications require additional attention to fuel-line routing and thermal protection.
- After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect every connection for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with AN fuel plumbing or chassis fuel-line modification.
For off-road use only.
