-4AN Female to 1/4" Push-to-Connect 90° Vacuum / Boost Fitting
The JBtuned -4AN Female to 1/4" Push-to-Connect 90° Fitting converts a -4AN male connection to a 1/4-inch push-to-connect interface while immediately changing the direction of the reference line by 90 degrees.
This configuration is useful when space around the component is limited or when a straight fitting would send the vacuum / boost-reference line in the wrong direction.

Choose the 90° Version for Tight Routing
The 90° configuration is designed for installations where the reference line needs to turn immediately after leaving the -4AN connection.
This can help keep small reference lines from making a large loop around a wastegate, blow-off valve, boost-control component or other device simply to change direction.
If the line can continue straight away from the connection, use the -4AN Female to 1/4" Push-to-Connect Straight Fitting.
-4AN Female Connection
The -4AN side uses the standard 37° AN flare connection. The threads draw the mating fittings together, while the matching flare surfaces create the seal.
This is different from an NPT pipe-thread connection. Do not treat the -4AN threads as tapered pipe threads or select this fitting for a 1/8" NPT female port simply because the connection sizes may appear similar.
Works With the JBtuned TiAL -4AN Adapter
This fitting can be used with the JBtuned TiAL Wastegate / Blow-Off Valve -4AN Adapter.
The TiAL adapter provides the -4AN male connection, while this fitting transitions from that connection to the 1/4" push-to-connect reference line and immediately turns the line 90 degrees.
It can also be used with other compatible -4AN male connections and is not limited to TiAL components.
Vacuum & Boost-Reference Plumbing
Common performance applications for push-to-connect reference plumbing include blow-off valves, wastegates, boost-control hardware, gauges and other devices requiring a vacuum or pressure-reference signal.
The correct reference source and routing depend on the component being controlled. Follow the instructions for the specific wastegate, blow-off valve, boost controller or engine-management system being installed.
