The e85Freaks 1/4" SAE EFI Hardline Quick-Connect to -6AN Adapter converts a compatible 1/4-inch SAE-style EFI male fuel-tube connection to a standard -6AN 37-degree flare connection.
This fitting uses a threaded locking design to mechanically retain the adapter on the raised connection point of the factory-style hardline while internal seals provide the fuel seal. It is designed for universal automotive fuel-system applications where an OEM-style hardline connection needs to transition to -6AN plumbing.

1/4" SAE EFI Hardline to -6AN
This adapter is designed to connect to a compatible 1/4-inch SAE-style male EFI fuel-tube end and provide a -6AN male connection for AN fuel plumbing.
It is useful when retaining an existing factory-style metal fuel line while converting the downstream fuel system to -6AN hose, fittings, filters, regulators, or other compatible AN components.
Threaded Locking Design
Unlike a conventional compression fitting that clamps directly onto plain tubing, this style of adapter is intended for a hardline that already has the compatible formed EFI quick-connect tube end.
A locking collar captures the hardline behind the raised tube-end feature, and the threaded fitting assembly mechanically secures the adapter in position. Internal seals provide the fuel seal between the adapter and the compatible tube end.
This screw-together arrangement provides positive mechanical retention while allowing the original formed hardline connection to remain intact.
Not a Compression Fitting for Plain 1/4" Tubing
This fitting is not intended to attach to a plain, straight piece of 1/4-inch tubing.
The mating hardline must have the compatible SAE-style EFI quick-connect end form and retaining feature required by this adapter.
If your fuel line is simply plain 1/4-inch OD tubing without the formed quick-connect end, a hardline compression-style AN adapter is a different type of fitting.
Standard -6AN 37-Degree Flare Connection
The AN side terminates in a standard -6AN male 37-degree flare for use with compatible -6AN hose ends, adapters, and other AN fuel-system components.
The AN connection seals at the 37-degree flare surface rather than at the threads, so thread sealant should not be applied to the AN flare threads.
Universal Fuel-System Adapter
This is a universal technical fitting for builders who have identified a compatible 1/4-inch SAE-style EFI hardline connection and need to transition it to -6AN.
Vehicle manufacturers can use different hardline sizes and connection styles between models, years, and different parts of the fuel system. Verify both the tube size and connection style before ordering.

Installation Notes
Before installation, confirm that the mating fuel line uses a compatible 1/4-inch SAE-style EFI formed tube end. Inspect the hardline connection area for corrosion, damage, deformation, or contamination that could interfere with proper sealing or retention.
Make sure the locking components are fully engaged and the fitting assembly is properly secured before pressurizing the fuel system.
After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect the fitting and surrounding plumbing for leaks before operating the vehicle.
