The e85Freaks 5/16" SAE EFI Hardline Quick-Connect to -6AN Adapter converts a compatible 5/16-inch SAE-style EFI male fuel-tube connection to a standard -6AN male 37-degree flare connection.
This adapter uses a threaded locking design that mechanically secures the fitting to the formed fuel-tube connection while internal seals provide the fuel seal. It is intended for universal automotive fuel-system applications where an OEM-style 5/16-inch hardline connection needs to transition into -6AN plumbing.

5/16" SAE EFI Fuel Hardline to -6AN
This fitting allows a compatible 5/16-inch SAE-style EFI fuel hardline connection to transition directly into -6AN fuel plumbing.
It is useful when retaining an existing factory-style metal fuel line while converting the rest of the fuel system to AN hose, filters, regulators, rails, or other compatible -6AN components.
Threaded Locking EFI Connection
The EFI side is designed around a formed male fuel-tube end with the retention feature required by this style of quick-connect adapter.
A locking collar captures the hardline behind the formed tube-end feature while the threaded fitting assembly secures the adapter in position. Internal sealing elements provide the fuel seal between the fitting and the compatible hardline connection.
This provides positive mechanical retention while allowing the original formed hardline connection to remain intact.
Different From a Compression Hardline Adapter
This fitting is not intended for plain 5/16-inch tubing without the required formed EFI quick-connect end.
A conventional hardline compression fitting attaches directly to plain outside-diameter tubing. This SAE EFI adapter instead connects to a compatible factory-style formed fuel-tube end.
Verify both the 5/16-inch size and the connection style before ordering.
Standard -6AN 37-Degree Flare
The AN side terminates in a standard -6AN male 37-degree flare for connection to compatible -6AN hose ends, adapters, and fuel-system components.
The AN connection seals at the flare surface rather than at the threads, so thread sealant should not be applied to the AN flare threads.
