The e85Freaks -6AN Male to Female Inline Adapter with 1/8 NPT Port adds a convenient 1/8 NPT gauge or sensor port directly into an existing -6AN fuel line or fluid-system connection.
With a -6AN male connection on one end and -6AN female connection on the other, the adapter can be installed inline without changing the AN size of the surrounding plumbing.

Add a Gauge or Sensor Port to -6AN Plumbing
This adapter provides a simple way to add a 1/8 NPT port anywhere a compatible -6AN male-to-female inline connection can be installed.
Common uses include:

Instead of replacing a fuel rail, regulator, filter, or other component simply to gain an additional sensor port, this adapter allows the port to be added directly into the AN plumbing where appropriate.
-6AN Male to Female Inline Design
The adapter maintains a -6AN connection through both ends, making it useful when a gauge or sensor needs to be added without changing the AN size of the fuel line.
The male and female AN connections use standard 37-degree flare sealing surfaces. AN flare connections seal at the flare rather than at the threads, so thread sealant should not be applied to the AN threads.
1/8 NPT Auxiliary Port
The side port uses a female 1/8 NPT thread, a common connection size for automotive pressure gauges, pressure sensors, and other instrumentation.
Unlike the AN flare connections, NPT is a tapered pipe-thread connection. Install the gauge, sensor, adapter, or plug using the appropriate sealing method for the component being installed.
Useful for Permanent or Temporary Instrumentation
The 1/8 NPT port can be used as part of a permanent gauge or sensor installation, but it can also be useful for diagnostic work.
For example, the adapter can provide an accessible location to temporarily install a fuel-pressure gauge while testing or troubleshooting a fuel system, then be plugged when the test equipment is removed.
