Product Description
EG / EK Civic & DC Integra K-Swap Fuel Tuck Kit - K20 / K24 (Level 3)
The JBtuned Level 3 K-Swap Fuel Tuck Kit is a cleaner engine-bay fuel-system solution for EG and EK Honda Civics and DC Acura Integras running a K20 or K24 engine swap.
Level 3 converts the K-Series engine side to a dedicated return-style fuel system, removes the large OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter and replaces it with a compact inline filter. The factory chassis feed and return hard lines remain in use, giving you a cleaner tucked engine-bay layout without replacing the complete under-car fuel system.
This is Level 3 in the JBtuned K-Swap fuel-system lineup: “I want it cleaner / tucked.”

Required Parts Not Included
Aftermarket K-Series Fuel Rail: Level 3 requires a compatible aftermarket fuel rail. Select the rail installed on your engine when ordering so JBtuned can configure the appropriate connection. If your rail is not listed, contact JBtuned before ordering.
External Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator: A compatible external adjustable fuel pressure regulator is required to control fuel pressure and provide the return path back into the vehicle’s factory chassis return line. If you do not already have a regulator, shop JBtuned fuel pressure regulators for compatible options:
Fuel Pressure Regulator Mounting: The regulator mounts to the USDM driver-side shock tower. JBtuned offers a dedicated Fuel Pressure Regulator Mounting Bracket for EG / EK Civic and DC Integra that uses the upper control-arm mounting points for a clean, secure installation.
What Level 3 Changes
Factory K-Series applications use a returnless engine-side fuel-system arrangement. Level 3 converts the K-Series engine side to a dedicated feed-and-return system using an aftermarket fuel rail, external adjustable fuel pressure regulator and the existing EG, EK or DC chassis feed and return hard lines.
The major difference between Level 2 and Level 3 is the fuel-filter arrangement.
- Level 2: Keeps the large OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
- Level 3: Removes the OEM firewall filter and replaces it with a compact inline filter for a cleaner engine-bay layout.
The original chassis feed and return hard lines remain in place, so Level 3 changes the engine-bay plumbing without requiring a complete tank-to-engine fuel-system replacement.
Compact Inline Fuel Filter
The included e85Freaks inline mini fuel filter replaces the large OEM firewall-mounted filter and allows the fuel plumbing to be arranged in a cleaner, less visually intrusive layout.
- Compact inline design
- Replaceable 30-micron bronze filter element
- Viton seals
- Serviceable filter element
250 Series Fuel Hose - Pump Gasoline
The Level 3 K-Swap Fuel Tuck Kit uses JBtuned 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose and is intended for conventional pump-gasoline applications.
250 Series hose is not intended for continuous or full-time E85 use.
If the vehicle will regularly run E85, ethanol-based race fuel or requires broader long-term fuel compatibility, use the JBtuned Level 4 Complete K-Swap Fuel System with the appropriate 350 Series PTFE configuration.
Fuel compatibility and flex-fuel engine management are separate considerations. PTFE-compatible fuel plumbing alone does not make a vehicle a flex-fuel system.
Vehicle & Engine Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC / DC2
- K20 engine swaps
- K24 engine swaps
K-swapped vehicles can use many combinations of engines, intake manifolds, fuel rails, regulators, mounts, turbo systems and other components. Select the correct chassis and fuel rail when ordering so JBtuned can configure the system for the components being used.
Ordering Options
Vehicle / Chassis: Select the EG Civic, EK Civic or DC Integra receiving the K-Series swap.
Fuel Rail: Select the aftermarket K-Series fuel rail installed on the engine. Different rails use different connection configurations.
Fuel Pressure Regulator: Select this option if you need a compatible external adjustable regulator supplied with the system.
Fuel Pressure Regulator Mounting Bracket: Select this option if you want to add the compatible JBtuned regulator mounting bracket to the package.
Upgrade Level 3 Later Without Starting Over
Level 3 is designed so the remaining factory chassis fuel lines can be replaced later without discarding the engine-bay system you already purchased.
If you later want to replace the factory feed and return hard lines, add the JBtuned Fuel Line Extension Kit.
The Extension Kit continues the Level 3 feed and return plumbing from the existing chassis connection points back to the fuel tank, allowing the Level 3 engine-bay portion to remain in place.
Upgrade the Feed & Return Together
When upgrading beyond the factory chassis fuel lines, the feed and return should be replaced together.
The standalone tank-to-OEM-filter feed-line upgrade used with a Level 1 system is not the correct extension for Level 3 because Level 3 has already removed the OEM firewall filter and converted the engine side to a dedicated return-style arrangement.
Fuel Pump Hanger & Under-Car Line Support
Extending Level 3 all the way to the fuel tank requires an appropriate fuel-pump hanger connection for the new aftermarket feed and return plumbing.
If the vehicle still uses an unmodified OEM hanger, see the JBtuned Civic / Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit.
For compatible EG, EK and DC chassis using aftermarket under-car fuel lines, JBtuned also offers JBtuned EG EK Civic / DC Integra Fuel & Brake Line Holder Brackets.
JBtuned K-Swap Fuel-System Levels
- Level 1 - “I Just Need It Running”: Simple engine-bay feed upgrade using the OEM firewall filter and factory chassis fuel supply.
- Level 2 - “I Want Feed & Return”: Dedicated return-style engine-bay system that retains the OEM firewall filter and factory chassis feed and return hard lines.
- Level 3 - “I Want It Cleaner / Tucked”: Dedicated return-style system that removes the OEM firewall filter, adds a compact inline filter and retains the factory chassis feed and return hard lines. You are here.
- Level 4 - “I Want to Replace Everything”: Complete aftermarket feed-and-return plumbing from the fuel tank to the engine and back, with feed size and hose series selected to match the build.

Which Level Should I Choose?
Choose Level 3 if you want a dedicated return-style K-Swap fuel system and a cleaner engine bay while continuing to use the factory chassis feed and return lines.
Choose Level 4 if you already know you want to replace the factory chassis fuel plumbing with a complete aftermarket feed-and-return system. Feed-line size and hose series can then be selected to match the fuel and requirements of the build.
Not sure which fuel or hose configuration is appropriate? Read our guide to E85, PTFE fuel lines and flex-fuel systems.
Installation Notes
- Installation requires modification of the existing chassis fuel-line connection points for the new AN-style engine-bay plumbing.
- All fuel lines and components must be securely supported and routed away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving parts and excessive heat.
- Turbocharged applications require additional attention to fuel-line clearance and heat protection.
- After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect every connection for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive fuel plumbing, hard-line modification, adjustable fuel pressure regulators or K-Series engine swaps.
For off-road use only.
