Nissan 240SX S13/S14 High-Pressure Power Steering Line - KA24DE / SR20DET
The JBtuned Nissan 240SX High-Pressure Power Steering Line replaces the factory multi-piece high-pressure steering line between the steering rack and power-steering pump on compatible S13 and S14 applications.
Designed for DOHC KA24DE and SR20DET configurations, the JBtuned line replaces the aging factory-style pressure-line assembly with a cleaner aftermarket hose assembly built specifically around the 240SX engine-bay layout.
A 6AN swivel connection allows the fitting to be clocked during installation for easier routing and alignment.

Replaces the Factory High-Pressure Power Steering Line
The original Nissan high-pressure power-steering assembly uses multiple sections between the steering rack and pump.
The JBtuned line replaces that factory high-pressure path with a single configured aftermarket hose assembly, eliminating the need to reuse the original multi-piece pressure line.
This makes it useful when the original line is leaking, damaged, deteriorated or simply being replaced as part of an engine-bay refresh or engine swap.
KA24DE & SR20DET Compatibility
This power-steering line is designed around 240SX S13 and S14 applications using:
- Nissan KA24DE DOHC
- Nissan SR20DET
The pump location and connection requirements can change when different engines or swap combinations are installed, so this product should not be assumed to fit engine configurations other than those listed.

6AN Swivel Connection
The JBtuned high-pressure line includes a 6AN swivel fitting that allows the fitting orientation to be adjusted during installation.
This provides additional flexibility when aligning and routing the power-steering line between the rack and pump without forcing the hose into an awkward orientation.
Final routing should provide adequate clearance from exhaust components, accessory belts, pulleys, sharp edges and other components that could expose the hose to excessive heat or abrasion.
Cleaner Engine-Bay Routing
Replacing the factory multi-piece pressure-line assembly simplifies the high-pressure steering connection between the rack and pump.
This can be particularly useful on modified 240SX engine bays where intake piping, intercooler plumbing, turbo components or other aftermarket parts make the original power-steering line arrangement inconvenient.
Actual routing will depend on the engine, power-steering pump, intake system, turbo or exhaust configuration and other components installed in the vehicle.

Installation Notes

- Use the swivel connection to establish a natural hose orientation without twisting or placing unnecessary load on the line.
- Keep the hose away from exhaust components, belts, pulleys, sharp edges and moving components.
- After installation, fill and bleed the power-steering system according to the requirements of the vehicle and steering components being used.
- Inspect all connections carefully for leaks before operating the vehicle.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with hydraulic power-steering systems or modified Nissan engine bays.
