The 60° configuration provides a stronger directional change than a 45° fitting without making the full right-angle turn of a 90° hose end, making it useful when the hose needs to transition around nearby components while continuing naturally toward its intended routing path.

For e85Freaks 350 Series PTFE Hose
This hose end is designed specifically for matching e85Freaks 350 Series PTFE AN hose. The PTFE hose and 350 Series hose end work together as a matched fuel-plumbing system.
350 Series PTFE hose ends are not compatible with 250 Series rubber-core hose. Matching AN sizes do not make the two hose-end systems interchangeable.
Do not assume another PTFE hose is compatible simply because it carries the same AN size. PTFE hose construction and outside diameter can vary between hose systems.
PTFE Hose-End Construction
The 350 Series uses a PTFE-specific compression and olive/ferrule-style termination designed around the construction of the matching PTFE hose.
This differs from the reusable hose-end construction used with the 250 Series rubber-core system and is why the two fitting families remain separate even when the AN connection size is identical.
Why Choose a 60° Hose End?
A 60° hose end fills the routing space between the commonly used 45° and 90° configurations.
It is useful when a 45° fitting does not redirect the hose far enough to clear a nearby component or line up with the desired path, but a 90° fitting would make too sharp or dramatic of a directional change.
The additional angle can help the hose transition around fuel rails, fuel pressure regulators, filters, firewall areas, brackets, and other nearby components while still allowing the line to continue forward rather than turning completely sideways.
This can be especially useful in layouts where the hose needs to move both away from the connection and toward an offset routing path at the same time.
Choosing the fitting angle that most closely follows the intended hose path can also help avoid forcing the PTFE hose into an unnecessarily tight bend immediately after the fitting.
If only a moderate directional change is needed, consider a 45° hose end. If the hose needs to make a full right-angle turn immediately after the connection, a 90° fitting may provide the cleaner routing solution.
Female AN 37° Flare Connection
The connection side of the hose end uses a female AN 37° flare. The connection seals at the mating flare surfaces rather than at the threads themselves.
Do not apply thread sealant to the AN flare connection. Verify that the mating fitting uses the correct AN size and 37° flare sealing style before assembly.
Reusable Swivel Design
The reusable design allows the hose end to be assembled onto matching 350 Series PTFE hose without permanently crimping the fitting to the hose.
The swivel-style construction also allows the 60° outlet to be properly clocked during assembly, helping position the hose toward the desired routing path before final installation.
Built for E85-Compatible PTFE Fuel Systems
The e85Freaks 350 Series PTFE system is suitable for pump gasoline, E85/ethanol, and compatible race fuels, allowing the same PTFE plumbing system to support a range of fuel choices.
E85-compatible plumbing does not by itself make a vehicle flex fuel. True flex-fuel operation requires an appropriate ethanol-content sensor, compatible wiring or electronics, engine-management support, and proper ECU configuration and tuning.
