Product Description
JBtuned 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si EP3 Complete Fuel System
The JBtuned EP3 Civic Si Complete Fuel System replaces the factory fuel plumbing from the fuel tank to the engine with a complete aftermarket feed and return system.
Designed for performance-oriented EP3 Civic Si builds, the system uses 350 Series PTFE fuel hose and is available with either a 6AN or 8AN feed. The return line is always 6AN.
The system can be configured around your fuel rail, regulator, fuel pump, and optional flex-fuel sensor setup so you receive a complete package built around the components installed on your car.
Vehicle Fitment
- 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si EP3
This system is intended for modified EP3 Civic Si applications using an aftermarket fuel rail and external fuel pressure regulator.
Complete Feed & Return Fuel System
This kit replaces the factory fuel supply plumbing with full-length aftermarket fuel lines running from the fuel tank to the engine and back.
Choose between:
- 6AN Feed / 6AN Return
- 8AN Feed / 6AN Return
The proper feed-line size depends on your fuel pump, injectors, engine combination, fuel being used, and overall power goals.
350 Series PTFE Fuel Hose
The EP3 Complete Fuel System is supplied with JBtuned 350 Series PTFE fuel hose.
PTFE fuel hose can be used with conventional pump gasoline, E85, ethanol-based fuels, and race fuels.
Choosing PTFE does not mean you have to run E85. The same PTFE fuel system can be used with conventional pump gasoline.
Also remember that fuel-line compatibility with E85 does not automatically make the vehicle flex fuel. True flex-fuel operation requires an ethanol-content sensor along with compatible engine management and tuning.
Not sure about the difference? Read our guide to E85, PTFE fuel lines, and flex-fuel systems.
Fuel Rail & Fuel Pressure Regulator Requirements
This system requires a compatible aftermarket fuel rail and external fuel pressure regulator.
Select the fuel rail installed on your engine when ordering so JBtuned can configure the system for the appropriate connection.
The fuel pressure regulator is positioned at the fuel rail and must have an appropriate AN-style inlet connection.
Select your regulator inlet configuration when ordering so the system can be supplied for the components being used on the vehicle.
If you are unsure whether your fuel rail or regulator is compatible, contact JBtuned before ordering.
High-Flow Fuel Filter
The EP3 Complete Fuel System includes an inline fuel filter as part of the complete fuel-system package.
The filter is incorporated into the system so you do not have to piece together the feed, return, filtration, and connection components individually.
Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade
A complete aftermarket fuel system also requires a proper connection at the fuel tank.
The optional JBtuned OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit allows the factory-style sending unit to be modified for use with the larger aftermarket feed and return system.
Select the fuel pump being used when ordering because the hanger configuration varies depending on the pump.
If you already have a properly modified or aftermarket fuel-pump hanger, the JBtuned hanger upgrade may not be required.
Need a Fuel Pump?
The fuel pump should be selected based on the fuel being used and the requirements of the engine combination.
Optional Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision
The Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision option does not include the actual ethanol-content sensor.
Selecting this option tells JBtuned to configure the fuel-system layout with provisions for integrating a flex-fuel sensor into the return side of the system.
If you plan to use flex-fuel tuning, you will also need a compatible ethanol-content sensor, engine management, wiring, and calibration.

E85-compatible PTFE fuel lines and flex-fuel capability are not the same thing.
Under-Car Fuel & Brake Line Brackets
For a clean underbody installation, pair the system with the JBtuned RSX DC5 / EP3 Civic Si Fuel & Brake Line Holder Brackets .
These chassis-specific brackets use the factory underbody mounting studs originally used by the OEM line holders.
They provide a clean way to organize the aftermarket fuel feed and return lines alongside the vehicle's brake lines and include a position for the factory EVAP/emissions line if that line is being retained.
Important: the current RSX/EP3 bracket configuration is designed around an 8AN feed and 6AN return using JBtuned 350 Series PTFE hose.
EVAP System Considerations
The RSX/EP3 under-car brackets include a position that allows the factory underbody EVAP/emissions line to be retained.
However, depending on your complete fuel-system configuration, other EVAP components may still need to be removed or reconfigured to provide adequate space for the fuel filter and optional flex-fuel sensor installation.
Inspect the EVAP system and planned component locations before installation.
Built With Turbo Applications in Mind
The EP3 Complete Fuel System is routed with modified and turbocharged applications in mind.
Fuel lines should be kept as far away from the turbocharger, exhaust manifold, downpipe, and other high-temperature components as practical.
Because turbo and manifold configurations vary considerably, additional heat protection may be required if any portion of the fuel system is located near extreme exhaust heat.
Retain the factory firewall and underhood heat shielding wherever practical.

Ordering Options Explained
Engine
Select the engine configuration installed in your EP3.
Intake Manifold
Select the intake manifold being used so the system can be configured around the engine-bay components installed on the vehicle.
Fuel Rail
Select your current aftermarket fuel rail. Different rails require different connection configurations.
Feed Line Size
Choose between a 6AN or 8AN fuel feed. The return line remains 6AN with either selection.
Regulator Inlet
Select the inlet configuration used by your fuel pressure regulator so the appropriate connection can be supplied.
Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade
Choose this option if you need the factory fuel-pump sending unit modified to integrate with the complete aftermarket fuel system.
Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision
Choose this option if you plan to integrate a flex-fuel sensor into the fuel system.
The sensor itself is not included with this option.
Under-Car Brackets
Choose this option if you want to add the JBtuned RSX DC5 / EP3 Civic Si Fuel & Brake Line Holder Brackets to the system.
The current bracket configuration is intended for the 8AN feed / 6AN return version of this fuel system.
Installation Information
This is a complete aftermarket fuel-system installation and requires removal or replacement of the original fuel plumbing.
Installation requirements vary depending on the engine, intake manifold, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, hanger configuration, turbo setup, and optional flex-fuel equipment.
All fuel lines must be securely mounted and routed away from exhaust heat, sharp edges, moving components, and areas where road debris or abrasion may damage them.
Verify all fuel-system connections for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Changes to injectors, fuel pressure, fuel type, flex-fuel operation, or other engine components may require appropriate ECU configuration and tuning.
Professional installation and tuning are recommended where applicable.
