JBtuned Aluminum HD / Vanjen-Style Clamp Assembly – 2.5in, 3.0in, 3.5in
The JBtuned Aluminum HD / Vanjen-Style Clamp Assembly provides a secure, flexible, and serviceable connection for turbocharger charge piping, intercooler plumbing, custom intake systems, and other high-performance air-handling applications.
Unlike a rigid welded connection, the HD clamp system allows controlled movement between the two connected components while maintaining a sealed connection. This helps isolate vibration, engine movement, minor pipe misalignment, and thermal movement in custom intake and charge-piping systems.
Complete HD Clamp Connection System
Each JBtuned HD / Vanjen-style clamp set provides the components required to create one complete flexible connection between two compatible sections of tubing or components.
The two aluminum weld ferrules are welded to the components being joined. O-rings seal the connection, while the union sleeve aligns the two sides and the HD clamp assembly secures the complete connection together.
Designed for Turbo & Performance Charge Piping
HD clamp assemblies are commonly used in high-performance intake and pressurized charge-piping systems where vibration, engine movement, heat, or slight alignment changes can place additional stress on conventional rigid connections.

Allows Movement Without a Conventional Silicone Coupler
The JBtuned HD clamp system allows angular, axial, and radial movement between connected components to help isolate vibration and accommodate minor movement within the intake or charge-piping system.
The assembly allows up to approximately 12 degrees of angular deflection while maintaining the sealed connection.

Welding Required
The aluminum weld ferrules must be properly welded to the aluminum tubing or components being connected.
Final installation depends on tubing size, material, alignment, available clearance, and the surrounding intake or charge-piping configuration. Professional fabrication and welding are recommended if you are unfamiliar with aluminum charge-pipe fabrication.
3.5in Clamp for the JBtuned Bosch 82mm Throttle Body Adapter
The 3.5-inch version of this HD clamp assembly is the compatible clamp-system size used with the JBtuned Bosch 82mm DBW Throttle Body to 3.50in HD / Vanjen Clamp Adapter.
The Bosch inlet adapter and this clamp assembly are sold separately. The Bosch adapter provides the throttle-body-side HD connection, while this clamp set supplies the remaining components required to create the corresponding 3.5-inch HD clamp connection in the intake or charge-piping system.
This HD clamp assembly is a universal product and is not limited to Honda or Bosch throttle-body applications.
