Product Description
JBtuned Civic & Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit
The JBtuned OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit allows you to modify the factory Honda fuel-pump hanger / sending unit for use with a high-flow aftermarket fuel pump and a performance AN fuel system.
Instead of replacing the entire factory hanger with an expensive aftermarket assembly, this kit upgrades the OEM unit with a larger AN fuel-feed connection, dedicated 6AN return, PTFE-compatible in-tank plumbing, stainless clamps, and an upgraded two-wire electrical bulkhead for the fuel pump.
The kit is available for several older Honda Civic and Acura Integra chassis and is configured specifically for the chassis, fuel pump, and feed-line size you select when ordering.
What This Kit Upgrades
High-flow aftermarket fuel pumps can move substantially more fuel and require more electrical current than many original Honda fuel-system components were designed around.
The factory hanger connections and in-tank plumbing can also become restrictions when the rest of the vehicle has been converted to larger AN fuel lines.
This kit allows you to retain the OEM hanger while upgrading the critical connections for a performance fuel system.
The upgrade provides:
- 6AN, 8AN, or 10AN fuel-feed connection depending on configuration
- Dedicated 6AN return on every version
- Two-wire fuel-pump electrical bulkhead
- Support for 12-14 AWG fuel-pump wiring
- PTFE-compatible in-tank fuel plumbing
- PTFE convoluted submersible tubing sized for the selected fuel pump
- Stainless-steel fuel-line clamps
- Chassis-specific feed and return connection components

Fuel Compatibility
The in-tank fuel-line components supplied with this kit are designed around PTFE-compatible performance fuel-system components.
The kit can be used as part of fuel systems running fuels such as:
- Pump gasoline
- E85
- Ethanol-based fuels
- Methanol-compatible fuel-system configurations
- E100
- Compatible race fuels
Always make sure every component in the complete fuel system — including the pump, external hose, regulator, filter, injectors, seals, and fittings — is compatible with the fuel being used.
Feed & Return Configuration
Fuel Feed:
6AN, 8AN, or 10AN depending on the fuel-pump configuration selected.
Fuel Return:
Always 6AN.
The feed-line selection determines the AN outlet size used to connect the modified hanger to the vehicle's external fuel-feed line.
The return configuration remains 6AN regardless of feed size.
Fuel Pump Options Explained
The in-tank tubing and hanger configuration change depending on the physical size and connection requirements of the fuel pump.
Choose the option that best matches your pump.
400+ Series / Large Fuel Pumps
Use the larger-pump option for pumps such as:
- Walbro / TI Automotive 400-series pumps
- Walbro / TI Automotive 450
- Walbro / TI Automotive 525
- Walbro / TI Automotive 535
- DeatschWerks DW400
- TI Automotive EL5M
- Other similarly sized 400+ series pumps
The large-pump configuration is available with 6AN, 8AN, or 10AN feed.
255 / 300-Series & Smaller Fuel Pumps
Use the smaller-pump option for pumps such as:
- Walbro / TI Automotive 255
- DeatschWerks DW65c
- DeatschWerks DW100
- DeatschWerks DW200
- Most 300-series aftermarket fuel pumps
- Similar 320 / 340 / 360-style pumps from other manufacturers
The smaller-pump configuration is available with 6AN or 8AN feed.
10AN feed is not offered with the smaller-pump configuration.
If you have an unusual fuel pump and are not sure which option to select, contact JBtuned with the manufacturer and pump model before ordering.
Two-Wire Fuel Pump Electrical Bulkhead
Every JBtuned hanger upgrade kit includes a two-wire electrical bulkhead for passing upgraded fuel-pump wiring safely through the fuel-pump hanger.
The bulkhead supports 12-14 AWG wiring.
This provides a clean sealed pass-through for the upgraded positive and negative connections required by many high-flow performance fuel pumps.
The electrical bulkhead is included with every chassis and fuel-pump configuration.
PTFE In-Tank Fuel Line
The kit includes submersible PTFE convoluted tubing sized for the selected fuel pump.
The convoluted construction allows the in-tank line to remain flexible while providing a fuel-compatible connection between the pump and modified hanger.
The tubing may be installed with a loop depending on chassis and pump configuration. Refer to the product photos for examples of the finished installation.
Stainless Fuel-Line Clamps
The supplied stainless-steel clamps are designed to secure the in-tank PTFE tubing without the sharp edges commonly found on conventional worm-drive hose clamps.
Install the clamps onto the tubing before pushing the PTFE line fully onto the pump or fitting barb.

Choose your fuel pump based on horsepower requirements, fuel type, fuel pressure, electrical system, and overall fuel-system configuration.
Important Installation Information
This is a modification kit for your existing OEM fuel-pump hanger.
Installation requires cutting, drilling, and modifying portions of the original hanger to create clearance for the new feed, return, and electrical components.
Depending on chassis and configuration, modification of the factory fuel-tank access cover may also be required.
Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable modifying the OEM fuel-pump hanger or working with performance fuel and electrical systems.
General Installation Overview
The exact modification differs slightly by chassis. Refer to the product photos and installation video for examples before beginning.
- Remove the OEM fuel-pump hanger / sending unit from the vehicle.
- Remove the original plastic electrical pass-through components as required.
- Enlarge the electrical opening for the supplied two-wire bulkhead.
- Modify the OEM hanger as required to create clearance for the new feed connection.
- Install the chassis-specific 6AN return connection.
- Install the selected AN feed connection.
- Install the new two-wire electrical bulkhead.
- Install the PTFE in-tank fuel tubing and stainless clamps.
- Remove or smooth any sharp metal edges created during modification.
- Verify all fittings, seals, wiring, and fuel connections before reinstalling the hanger.
Installation Tips
Common tools used for this conversion include a Dremel or similar rotary tool with a metal-cutting wheel and a step drill / Unibit.
Use the OEM fuel-pump hanger gasket as a reference when determining where components can safely pass through the top of the hanger.
Keep all modifications inside the area sealed by the factory hanger gasket.
Take extra care when installing the PTFE tubing. Place the supplied clamps onto the tubing before fully pushing the tubing over the pump or fitting barb.
Carefully deburr and smooth any metal edges created while cutting or drilling the hanger.
Fuel-System Safety
Work only on a properly drained and ventilated fuel system and keep fuel and fuel vapors away from sparks, open flames, hot surfaces, and other ignition sources.
Wear appropriate eye, hand, respiratory, and skin protection when cutting or drilling the metal hanger.
After installation, inspect the entire system carefully for fuel leaks and verify the electrical connections before operating the vehicle.
