Product Description
J-Swap OEM Filter-to-Rail Fuel Line
The JBtuned J-Swap OEM Filter-to-Rail Fuel Line is the Level 1 starting point for a simple J-Series fuel system in EG and EK Honda Civics, DC Acura Integras, and Honda Del Sols running a J-Series engine swap.
This setup retains the vehicle's OEM firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter and the factory J-Series fuel rail and regulator arrangement, connecting the two with a properly configured JBtuned engine-bay fuel-feed line.
If your goal is to get the J-Series swap supplied with fuel while keeping the rest of the fuel system straightforward, this is the place to start.
Level 1 – “I Just Need the Feed Line”
This is Level 1 in the JBtuned J-Series fuel-system lineup: “I just need the feed line.”
Level 1 keeps the factory-style J-Series returnless fuel-system arrangement and adds the engine-bay feed connection needed to integrate the J-Series engine with the earlier Honda chassis.
The OEM firewall fuel filter remains in place, the factory J-Series fuel rail and regulator arrangement remains in use, and no dedicated engine-bay return line or external fuel pressure regulator is required.
For a straightforward pump-gas J-Series swap that does not need a complete performance fuel-system replacement, Level 1 keeps the system simple.
Vehicle Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC
- 1993-1997 Honda Del Sol
This product is designed for compatible J-Series engine swaps using the factory-style J-Series fuel rail and regulator arrangement.
If your swap uses aftermarket fuel rails, an external fuel pressure regulator, or another custom fuel-system configuration, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Simple Returnless J-Series Fuel Setup
Factory J-Series engines use a returnless fuel-system layout.
The JBtuned Level 1 fuel line allows that factory-style engine-side arrangement to work with the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter already present in the Civic, Integra, or Del Sol chassis.
The result is a straightforward fuel-feed solution without adding unnecessary fuel-system complexity to a build that does not require it.
Retains the OEM Honda Firewall Fuel Filter
Level 1 is designed around retaining the factory firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter.
The vehicle's existing chassis fuel-feed line supplies the OEM filter, and the JBtuned line connects the filter outlet to the factory J-Series fuel system.
Keeping the OEM filter allows the original chassis-side fuel system to remain in place rather than requiring complete replacement of the under-car fuel plumbing.
Retains the Factory J-Series Fuel Rail & Regulator
This setup is designed to work with the factory J-Series fuel rail and regulator configuration.
That makes Level 1 a good choice for a straightforward J-swap where the goal is to retain the factory-style engine-side fuel system while adapting it cleanly to the earlier Honda chassis.
If your J-Series build uses aftermarket fuel rails or a different fuel-pressure-regulator arrangement, contact JBtuned so we can determine the appropriate fuel-system configuration.
250 Series Rubber Hose – Pump Gasoline
The JBtuned J-Series Level 1 fuel line uses 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose.
JBtuned 250 Series hose is intended for conventional pump gasoline.
While occasional exposure to E85 may occur in some applications, the 250 Series hose is not intended for continuous or full-time E85 use.
This product should be considered a pump-gas J-Series fuel-line solution, not an E85 or flex-fuel conversion.
What Comes With the Fuel Line
- Pre-assembled JBtuned engine-bay fuel-feed line
- Connection components for the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter
- Connection components for the compatible factory J-Series fuel system
- Required connection hardware for the configured fuel line
Exact connection components may vary according to chassis and J-Series configuration.
Want to Replace the Factory Chassis Feed Line Too?
Level 1 normally retains the original chassis fuel-feed line running from the fuel tank to the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
If that original line is rusted, damaged, deteriorated, or you simply want to replace it with a 6AN chassis feed, JBtuned also offers the JBtuned Tank-to-OEM-Filter 6AN Fuel Line .
That replacement chassis line retains the OEM firewall filter and uses JBtuned 250 Series hose, making it a natural companion to this Level 1 pump-gas J-Series setup.
Because the Tank-to-OEM-Filter line is chassis-based rather than engine-specific, it allows you to replace the aging factory chassis feed without changing the basic Level 1 fuel-system architecture.
Need More Fuel-System Capacity?
Level 1 is intended for a simple J-Series setup using the OEM firewall filter and factory-style J-Series fuel rail and regulator arrangement.
If your build requires aftermarket dual fuel rails, an external fuel pressure regulator, substantially greater fuel capacity, complete replacement chassis plumbing, or PTFE hose for continuous E85 use, move to the JBtuned J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System .
The complete J-Series system is designed for builds that have outgrown the simple OEM-filter-based Level 1 arrangement and need a more performance-oriented fuel-system configuration.
Level 1 or Complete J-Series Fuel System?
- Level 1 – “I just need the feed line.” Retain the OEM firewall filter and factory J-Series fuel rail/regulator arrangement with a simple pump-gas fuel-feed connection.
- Complete Dual-Feed System – “I need a serious J-Series fuel system.” Move to aftermarket dual fuel rails, external fuel-pressure regulation, complete chassis fuel plumbing, and the fuel-system configuration required for more demanding builds.
Pump Gas, E85 & Flex Fuel
This Level 1 J-Series fuel line uses JBtuned 250 Series hose and is intended for conventional pump-gas applications.
If your build will run continuous E85, fuel compatibility must be considered across the entire fuel system, including hose, filters, seals, fuel pumps, regulators, and other fuel-contact components.
E85-compatible fuel plumbing also does not automatically make a vehicle flex fuel. True flex-fuel operation requires an ethanol-content sensor, compatible engine-management electronics, and appropriate tuning.

Installation Information
This product replaces the engine-bay fuel connection between the OEM firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter and the compatible factory-style J-Series fuel system.
Inspect the existing fuel filter, chassis feed line, fuel-rail components, and surrounding engine-bay components before installation.
The fuel line must be securely routed away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving parts, and areas where excessive heat or abrasion may damage the hose.
After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect all fuel connections for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive fuel plumbing or J-Series engine swaps.
For off-road use only.
