Product Description
Walbro 255 GSS341G3 High-Pressure In-Tank Fuel Pump
The Walbro / TI Automotive GSS341G3 is a high-pressure 255 LPH in-tank fuel pump for gasoline-powered performance applications.
Commonly known as the Walbro 255, the GSS341G3 uses a compact 39mm pump body with a 180-degree outlet-to-inlet orientation. That orientation is the primary physical difference between the GSS341G3 and the straight 0-degree GSS342G3 version of the Walbro 255.
Important: TI Automotive classifies the GSS341G3 for gasoline fuel service. It is not the pump to choose for an E85 / flex-fuel system. For E85 or flex-fuel applications, use a pump specifically rated for flex-fuel service.

GSS341G3 Vehicle Applications
The GSS341G3 is sold as a pump-only component rather than a complete vehicle-specific installation kit. The required inlet filter, mounting hardware and installation components vary by vehicle and fuel-pump hanger.
Walbro application guides have historically paired the GSS341-style 180-degree pump with a number of performance applications, including:
- 1988-1991 Honda Civic
- 1989-1991 Honda CRX
- 1990-1993 Acura Integra - DA chassis
- 1990-1993 Honda Accord 2.2L
- 1992-1994 Acura Vigor
- 1991-2000 Acura NSX
- 1991-1995 Acura Legend Sedan
- 1992-1996 Honda Prelude
- 1989-1994 Nissan 240SX - S13 chassis
- 1986-1988 Mazda RX-7
- 1989-1992 Mazda RX-7
- 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7 Turbo
- 1990-1994 AWD Mitsubishi Eclipse / Eagle Talon / Plymouth Laser DSM applications
- 1991-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 / Dodge Stealth Turbo
- 1984-1992 Toyota Supra
- 1994-1998 Toyota Supra Turbo
- 1991-1995 Toyota MR2
This application list identifies vehicles historically paired with the GSS341 pump configuration. It does not mean the bare pump alone contains everything required for installation. Verify the correct inlet filter, electrical connector and mounting hardware for the specific vehicle before ordering.
GSS341G3 vs. GSS342G3 Walbro 255
The GSS341G3 and GSS342G3 share the same basic Walbro 255 high-pressure pump specifications. The important difference is the orientation of the inlet relative to the outlet.
- GSS341G3: 180-degree outlet-fitting-to-inlet orientation
- GSS342G3: 0-degree outlet-fitting-to-inlet orientation
The pump orientation affects how the pump, inlet filter and surrounding hanger components fit together inside the fuel tank. Choose the version that matches the fuel-pump hanger and installation arrangement for the vehicle.
How Much Horsepower Can a Walbro 255 Support?
TI Automotive currently publishes horsepower reference figures of 300 HP low and 550 HP high for the GSS341G3. These figures should be treated as general pump-selection guidance rather than a fixed horsepower limit.
Fuel pressure, voltage at the pump, injector demand, engine fuel consumption, boost pressure and the rest of the fuel system all affect how much power a fuel pump can support.
Fuel-pump flow also decreases as operating pressure increases, so the pump should be selected around the actual fuel requirements of the combination rather than a single horsepower number.
Building Your Own Fuel-Pump Wiring Pigtail?
The GSS341G3 uses the smaller Walbro 255 / 3xx-series electrical connector style.
255 & 3xx Series Fuel Pump Connector Kit
This OE-style connector kit provides the connector components needed to build your own fuel-pump wiring pigtail for the GSS341G3 and compatible Walbro 255 / 3xx-series pumps.
Installing a GSS341G3 in an EF Civic or DA Integra?
The GSS341G3 is historically matched to older Honda applications including the EF-generation Civic / CRX and DA Integra.
If you are upgrading the OEM fuel-pump hanger as part of a larger AN fuel-system conversion, take a look at the:
JBtuned Civic / Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit
The JBtuned hanger kit supports the older EF Civic / DA Integra hanger configuration and has a dedicated smaller-pump option for Walbro 255 / 300-series fuel pumps.
The hanger upgrade allows the OEM sending unit to be retained while adding a larger AN fuel-feed connection, dedicated 6AN return, upgraded two-wire electrical pass-through and submersible PTFE in-tank fuel plumbing.

Before Installing a Higher-Flow Fuel Pump
The fuel pump is only one part of the complete fuel system. Fuel-pump wiring, electrical supply, filtration, fuel lines, regulator and injectors all need to be appropriate for the engine's fuel demand.
The GSS341G3 is classified by TI Automotive for gasoline fuel service. For an E85 / flex-fuel system, select a pump specifically rated for flex-fuel use.
