Product Description
Walbro 255 GSS342G3 High-Pressure Fuel Pump - EG / EK Civic & DC Integra
The Walbro / TI Automotive GSS342G3 is a high-pressure 255 LPH in-tank fuel pump for gasoline-powered Honda Civic and Acura Integra applications.
Commonly known as the Walbro 255, the GSS342G3 uses a compact 39mm pump body and a 0-degree outlet-to-inlet orientation that works well with the factory-style fuel-pump hanger used in many EG and EK Civics and DC Integras.
Important: TI Automotive classifies the GSS342G3 for gasoline fuel service. It is not the pump to choose for an E85 / flex-fuel system. For E85 or flex-fuel applications, look at the compatible Walbro 450, 525 or 535 options farther down this page.

GSS342G3 vs. GSS341G3 Walbro 255
The GSS342G3 and GSS341G3 are both high-pressure Walbro 255 pumps with the same basic 255 LPH published flow rating. The important difference is the orientation of the inlet relative to the outlet.
- GSS342G3: 0-degree outlet-fitting-to-inlet orientation
- GSS341G3: 180-degree outlet-fitting-to-inlet orientation
The GSS342G3 on this page is the version used for the Civic / Integra applications listed above. If your application requires the alternate 180-degree configuration, take a look at the:

How Much Horsepower Can a Walbro 255 Support?
TI Automotive currently publishes horsepower reference figures of 300 HP low and 550 HP high for the GSS342G3. These figures should be treated as general pump-selection guidance rather than a fixed horsepower limit.
Fuel pressure, voltage at the pump, injector demand, engine fuel consumption, boost pressure and the rest of the fuel system all affect how much power a fuel pump can support.
Fuel-pump flow also decreases as operating pressure increases, so the pump should be selected around the actual fuel requirements of the combination rather than a single horsepower number.
Building Your Own Fuel-Pump Wiring Pigtail?
The GSS342G3 uses the smaller Walbro 255 / 3xx-series electrical connector style.
255 & 3xx Series Fuel Pump Connector Kit
This genuine OE-style connector kit includes:
- Connector body
- Wire lock
- 3 terminals - one additional terminal is included for crimp practice
This is the correct connector kit if you want to build your own fuel-pump wiring pigtail for the GSS342G3 Walbro 255 on this page.
Compare JBtuned Walbro / TI Automotive Fuel Pumps
JBtuned carries several Walbro / TI Automotive in-tank fuel pumps. The correct pump depends on the fuel being used, required fuel volume, operating pressure and the requirements of the engine.

Upgrading the Fuel-Pump Hanger in Your Civic or Integra?
If you are installing the GSS342G3 in a supported Honda Civic or Acura Integra OEM fuel-pump hanger, take a look at the:
JBtuned Civic / Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit
Instead of replacing the complete factory sending unit with an aftermarket hanger, the JBtuned kit modifies the OEM fuel-pump hanger for use with an upgraded AN fuel system.
The hanger kit is configured according to the chassis, fuel-pump size and feed-line size selected when ordering. Select the pump configuration that matches the GSS342G3 when ordering.
Depending on the selected configuration, the hanger upgrade provides a larger AN fuel-feed connection, dedicated 6AN return, upgraded two-wire electrical pass-through and submersible PTFE in-tank fuel plumbing.
Before Installing a Higher-Flow Fuel Pump
The fuel pump is only one part of the complete fuel system. Fuel-pump wiring, electrical supply, filtration, fuel lines, regulator and injectors all need to be appropriate for the engine's fuel demand.
The GSS342G3 is classified by TI Automotive for gasoline fuel service. For an E85 / flex-fuel system, select a pump specifically rated for flex-fuel use.
