Product Description
The JBtuned Continental 13577429 Flex Fuel Sensor Mounting Bracket provides a simple, secure way to mount the Continental ethanol-content sensor to the vehicle rather than leaving the sensor supported by the fuel lines.
The one-piece bracket is designed specifically around the shape of the Continental 13577429 sensor. The sensor slides into the lower portion of the bracket and the upper section clips over the sensor body to hold it securely in position.

Designed for the Continental 13577429 Sensor
This bracket is designed specifically for the Continental 13577429 Flex Fuel / Ethanol Content Sensor used throughout compatible JBtuned flex-fuel systems.
The bracket follows the shape of the sensor body so the sensor is retained at multiple points without requiring a bulky universal clamp or oversized mounting assembly.
Support the Sensor — Not with the Fuel Lines
A flex fuel sensor should be securely mounted to the vehicle rather than left hanging from the fuel plumbing.
The JBtuned bracket gives the sensor its own mounting support so the surrounding fuel lines and fittings are not being used to carry the weight of the sensor assembly.
This also helps keep the sensor positioned consistently and makes it easier to route the fuel lines and wiring cleanly around the installation.
Simple One-Piece Design
The bracket was intentionally designed to be simple, lightweight, and effective.
The Continental sensor slides into the lower retaining section of the bracket, and the upper portion clips over the sensor body to secure it in place.
The bracket then uses its two mounting points to attach the assembly to a suitable location on the vehicle.
There is no need for a heavy or overly complicated machined mounting assembly simply to secure a sensor that is commonly tucked out of sight.
Designed for Clean, Tucked Installations
JBtuned commonly positions the Continental sensor near the fuel tank in compatible complete fuel-system layouts.
Mounting the sensor toward the rear of the vehicle helps keep the ethanol-content sensor and its associated plumbing out of the engine bay while allowing it to remain securely supported as part of the complete fuel system.
The exact mounting location will vary by vehicle and fuel-system layout, so choose a secure location with adequate clearance for the sensor, fittings, fuel lines, and electrical connector.
Building the Complete Flex Fuel Sensor Assembly?
The mounting bracket is one part of the complete Continental sensor installation. JBtuned also offers the related components needed to build the sensor assembly:
- Genuine Continental 13577429 Flex Fuel / Ethanol Content Sensor
- e85Freaks Continental Flex Fuel Sensor Quick-Connect Fittings to -6AN
- JBtuned Flex Fuel Sensor Harness for Hondata S300 V3 / KPro4
- e85Freaks 350 Series PTFE Fuel Hose
-6AN Sensor Plumbing
For JBtuned-style -6AN fuel plumbing, the Continental sensor can be paired with the e85Freaks Continental 13577429 Flex Fuel Sensor Quick-Connect Fittings to -6AN.
One fitting is used on each side of the sensor to provide the -6AN connections for the fuel line entering and leaving the sensor.
Two fittings are required for one complete sensor installation.
Part of JBtuned Flex-Fuel Systems
This bracket is used in compatible JBtuned complete flex-fuel and flex-fuel-sensor-provision fuel systems to securely mount the Continental sensor as part of the overall fuel-system layout.
The sensor, mounting bracket, fuel connections, wiring, ECU configuration, and tuning each perform a different role within a complete sensor-based flex-fuel setup.
What Is Included?
- One JBtuned Continental 13577429 flex fuel sensor mounting bracket
Flex fuel sensor, -6AN fittings, fuel lines, wiring harness, and other fuel-system components are not included unless purchased separately.
Installation Notes
Select a secure mounting location with sufficient clearance for the sensor body, electrical connector, fuel fittings, and surrounding fuel lines.
Route the fuel plumbing and wiring away from exhaust heat, sharp edges, moving components, and other potential sources of damage.
After installation, confirm that the sensor is securely retained by the bracket and that the fuel lines and electrical harness are not placing unnecessary load on the sensor assembly.
