Product Description
EG / EK Civic & DC Integra K-Swap Complete Fuel System – K20 / K24
The JBtuned K-Swap Complete Fuel System is the full tank-to-engine-and-back fuel-system solution for EG and EK Honda Civics and DC Acura Integras running a K20 or K24 engine swap.
This is Level 4 in the JBtuned K-Swap fuel-system lineup: “I want serious fuel capacity / E85.”
Unlike Levels 1 through 3, Level 4 does not depend on the vehicle's original chassis fuel lines. The factory feed and return plumbing is replaced with a complete aftermarket AN fuel system running from the fuel tank to the engine and back.
Choose a 6AN or 8AN feed, a dedicated 6AN return, and either JBtuned 250 Series rubber hose for conventional pump gasoline or JBtuned 350 Series PTFE hose for pump gas, E85, and compatible race fuels.
If you already know your K-swap needs a complete chassis fuel-system replacement, larger feed capacity, PTFE plumbing, or long-term E85 capability, Level 4 is the system to start with.
Vehicle & Engine Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC / DC2
- K20 engine swaps
- K24 engine swaps
K-swapped vehicles can use many combinations of engines, intake manifolds, fuel rails, regulators, engine mounts, turbo systems, and other components.
Select your vehicle and engine configuration when ordering so JBtuned can build the fuel system for the components being used.
If your setup uses an unusual engine, intake manifold, fuel rail, regulator, or turbo configuration, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Level 4 – Complete Tank-to-Engine Fuel-System Replacement
Level 4 is fundamentally different from the lower JBtuned K-Swap fuel-system levels.
Levels 1 through 3 are designed around retaining some or all of the original Honda chassis fuel plumbing.
Level 4 replaces the chassis fuel feed and return plumbing from the fuel tank to the engine bay and back.
This gives you control over the fuel-line size, hose material, fuel compatibility, filtration, fuel-pump connection, and under-car mounting instead of continuing to build around the original chassis hard lines.
Dedicated Return-Style K-Series Fuel System
Factory K-Series applications use a returnless engine-side fuel-system arrangement.
Level 4 converts the K-Series engine side to a dedicated return-style fuel system using an aftermarket K-Series fuel rail and external adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
Fuel is supplied from the tank through the new feed system to the aftermarket fuel rail. The external regulator controls fuel pressure and the dedicated 6AN return carries fuel back to the tank.
Because Level 4 replaces the complete chassis fuel plumbing, it does not rely on the smaller factory Honda return hard line used with a basic Level 2 or Level 3 installation.
6AN or 8AN Feed With 6AN Return
Level 4 allows you to select the feed-line size that matches the requirements of your build.
- 6AN Feed / 6AN Return
- 8AN Feed / 6AN Return
The return side of the system remains 6AN with either feed-line configuration.
Choose the feed size appropriate for your engine combination, fuel pump, fuel type, and expected fuel demand.
If you are unsure whether your build requires a 6AN or 8AN feed, contact JBtuned with your engine, fuel, fuel pump, and approximate power goals before ordering.
Choose the Correct Fuel Hose
Level 4 is available with two JBtuned fuel-hose families.
250 Series Rubber Hose – Pump Gasoline
Choose JBtuned 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose for vehicles running conventional pump gasoline.
While occasional exposure to E85 may occur in some applications, the 250 Series hose is not intended for continuous or full-time E85 use.
If the vehicle will regularly run E85, ethanol-based race fuels, or needs broader long-term fuel compatibility, choose the 350 Series PTFE option.
350 Series PTFE Hose – Pump Gas / E85 / Race Fuels
Choose JBtuned 350 Series PTFE fuel hose for broader fuel compatibility.
The 350 Series option is appropriate for:
- Pump gasoline
- E85 and ethanol-based fuels
- Compatible race fuels
- Gasoline builds that may move to E85 later
Choosing PTFE does not mean the vehicle must run E85. It is also an excellent option for pump-gas builds where broader future fuel compatibility is desired.
E85 Compatible Does Not Automatically Mean Flex Fuel
Using 350 Series PTFE hose makes the fuel plumbing compatible with pump gasoline, E85, and other compatible fuels. That is separate from how the engine-management system determines and responds to changing ethanol content.
An ethanol-content sensor is commonly used to provide real-time fuel-composition information to compatible engine management for a sensor-based flex-fuel strategy. Other fuel-management strategies may also be possible depending on the ECU and tuning platform being used.
The fuel-system plumbing, ethanol-content sensing, engine-management electronics, and tuning are separate parts of the overall setup.

Aftermarket K-Series Fuel Rail Required
Level 4 requires a compatible aftermarket K-Series fuel rail.
The aftermarket rail provides the connections required for the dedicated feed-and-return fuel-system arrangement.
Different K20 and K24 fuel rails use different connection configurations, so select the fuel rail installed on your engine when ordering.
JBtuned configures the system for the selected rail so you do not have to determine the required rail connections individually.
If your fuel rail is not listed, contact JBtuned before ordering.
External Fuel Pressure Regulator Required
A compatible external adjustable fuel pressure regulator is required for Level 4.
The regulator controls fuel pressure and provides the return path back to the fuel tank through the dedicated 6AN return line.
If you need a regulator, JBtuned offers the AEM Honda / Acura Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator .
If you already have a regulator, select the appropriate regulator configuration when ordering.
Fuel Filter Options
The base Level 4 fuel system does not include a fuel filter.
If you need a fuel filter, select the appropriate filter option when ordering and JBtuned will configure the fuel system accordingly.
Adding a filter may require securely mounting the filter to the vehicle during installation.
Optional Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision
If you plan to install a flex-fuel sensor, select the Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision when ordering.
This option configures the fuel-line system to accommodate the sensor.
The ethanol-content sensor itself is not included with the provision.
If you need a genuine sensor, JBtuned offers the JBtuned Genuine Continental Flex-Fuel Sensor .
You may also need Flex-Fuel Sensor Quick-Disconnect Fittings for integration with the fuel system.
Flex-Fuel Sensor Mounting
A flex-fuel sensor should be securely mounted rather than left unsupported by the fuel lines.
JBtuned offers a Flex-Fuel Sensor Mounting Bracket for compatible installations.
Hondata Flex-Fuel Wiring
For compatible Hondata S300 and KPro applications, JBtuned offers a JBtuned Flex-Fuel Sensor Plug-N-Play Harness for Hondata S300 / KPro .
The wiring and engine-management system must be properly configured and tuned for actual flex-fuel operation.
Fuel Pump & Fuel Pump Hanger
The fuel pump must be appropriately sized for the engine combination, fuel being used, expected fuel demand, and electrical system.
A fuel pump is not included with the base Level 4 system.
The original Honda fuel-pump hanger was not designed around a complete aftermarket AN feed-and-return fuel system.
If your hanger has not already been properly configured for an aftermarket fuel system, consider the JBtuned Civic / Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit .
The hanger configuration depends on the fuel pump and fuel-system setup being used, so select the appropriate options when ordering.
JBtuned Under-Car Fuel & Brake Line Brackets
A complete Level 4 fuel system also needs secure support for the new feed and return lines underneath the vehicle.
For compatible EG, EK, and DC chassis, JBtuned offers JBtuned EG EK Civic / DC Integra Fuel & Brake Line Holder Brackets .
The brackets support compatible aftermarket fuel-line configurations while allowing the OEM brake hard lines to remain in place.
Bracket configurations are available for both 6AN feed / 6AN return and 8AN feed / 6AN return JBtuned fuel systems.
High-Heat Protection for Turbo K-Swaps
Turbocharged K-swaps can place fuel-system components close to turbochargers, exhaust manifolds, wastegates, downpipes, and other extreme heat sources.
Select the High Heat Sleeve option when additional thermal protection is appropriate for your installation.
Every turbo K-swap is different, so the installer must still verify that all fuel plumbing has adequate clearance from exhaust components and other major heat sources.
What Comes With the Base Level 4 System

Fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, flex-fuel sensor, and other optional components are not included unless specifically selected or purchased separately.
JBtuned K-Swap Fuel-System Progression
JBtuned offers several K-swap fuel-system levels so you can choose the amount of fuel-system modification that actually matches the build.
Level 1 – “I Just Need It Running”
Need a simple returnless-style pump-gas fuel connection while retaining the OEM firewall filter and original chassis fuel system?
Start with the JBtuned K-Swap OEM Filter-to-Rail Fuel Line .
Level 1 uses 250 Series hose and is intended for conventional pump-gas applications.
Level 2 – “I Want Feed & Return”
Want to convert the K-Series to a return-style system while still using both factory chassis hard lines and the OEM firewall filter?
Choose the JBtuned K-Swap OEM Filter Feed & Return Fuel Line Kit .
Level 3 – “I Want It Cleaner / Tucked”
Want the return-style architecture of Level 2 but with the OEM firewall filter removed and a cleaner engine-bay layout?
Choose the JBtuned K-Swap Fuel Tuck Kit .
Level 3 still retains the original chassis fuel lines but uses a compact inline filter and tucked-style engine-bay plumbing.
Level 4 – “I Want Serious Fuel Capacity / E85”
You are here.
Level 4 replaces the complete chassis feed and return plumbing from the fuel tank to the engine and back.
Choose a 6AN or 8AN feed and either 250 Series pump-gas hose or 350 Series PTFE hose for broader fuel compatibility.
This is the appropriate starting point for builds that already need complete aftermarket chassis plumbing, larger feed options, or long-term E85 capability.
Quick Guide: Which K-Swap Fuel Kit Do I Need?
- Level 1 – “I just need it running.” Returnless-style pump-gas setup retaining the OEM filter and factory chassis fuel system.
- Level 2 – “I want feed & return.” Convert the K-Series to return-style while retaining the OEM firewall filter and both factory chassis hard lines.
- Level 3 – “I want it cleaner/tucked.” Return-style system using the factory chassis lines, but remove the OEM firewall filter and use a compact tucked engine-bay layout.
- Level 4 – “I want serious fuel capacity/E85.” Replace the complete tank-to-engine-and-back chassis fuel plumbing with 6AN or 8AN feed and 250 Series or 350 Series PTFE hose options.
Already Have Level 2 or Level 3?
If you already own a Level 2 or Level 3 JBtuned K-Swap fuel system and later decide to replace the remaining factory chassis lines, you may not need to purchase the complete Level 4 system.
The JBtuned Fuel Line Extension Kit picks up where the Level 2 or Level 3 engine-bay system stops and continues the feed and return plumbing back to the fuel tank.
This allows customers who upgraded progressively to keep the JBtuned engine-bay system they already purchased.
If you are starting from scratch and already know you need an 8AN feed, 350 Series PTFE hose, continuous E85 capability, or complete aftermarket chassis plumbing, Level 4 is generally the better starting point.
