Product Description
6AN Tank-to-OEM-Filter Fuel Feed Line – EG / EK Civic & DC Integra
The JBtuned Tank-to-OEM-Filter 6AN Fuel Line replaces the factory chassis fuel-feed line on compatible EG and EK Honda Civics and DC Acura Integras while retaining the original firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter.
This product is not engine-specific. It can be used with a wide range of engine combinations and fuel-system setups as long as the vehicle continues to use the compatible OEM firewall fuel filter.
Whether you are replacing a rusted, damaged, or aging factory fuel line, upgrading the chassis feed to 6AN, or building a custom pump-gas fuel system, this line provides a complete replacement feed path between the fuel tank area and the OEM filter.
The current version uses JBtuned 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose and is intended for conventional pump gasoline.
Vehicle Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC
Fitment is based primarily on the chassis and OEM fuel-filter arrangement rather than the engine installed in the vehicle.
The vehicle must retain a compatible firewall-mounted OEM Honda fuel filter.
Not Engine-Specific
This chassis fuel line does not depend on whether the vehicle is running a B-Series, D-Series, H-Series, K-Series swap, or another compatible engine configuration.
Its job is simply to replace the chassis fuel-feed section between the fuel tank area and OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
As long as the rest of the fuel system is configured to use that OEM filter, this line can be incorporated into many different engine and fuel-system combinations.
Replace an Aging or Damaged Factory Fuel Line
Many EG, EK, and DC chassis are now decades old, and the original steel fuel lines may be affected by corrosion, physical damage, previous modifications, or general deterioration.
The JBtuned Tank-to-OEM-Filter Fuel Line can be used as a complete replacement for the original chassis fuel-feed line while retaining the OEM firewall fuel filter.
You do not need to be performing an engine swap or building a high-performance fuel system to use this product.
6AN Chassis Fuel Feed
The replacement line uses a 6AN fuel-feed configuration.
It replaces the original chassis feed between the fuel-tank area and OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter with a pre-assembled aftermarket fuel line.
This makes it useful both as a replacement for an aging factory line and as part of a compatible custom 6AN fuel-system configuration.
Retains the OEM Honda Fuel Filter
This product is specifically designed around retaining the factory firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter.
The replacement line supplies the OEM filter just as the original chassis fuel-feed line did.
If your fuel-system configuration removes the OEM firewall filter entirely, this is not the appropriate chassis fuel line for that setup.
250 Series Rubber Hose – Pump Gasoline
The current version of this fuel line uses JBtuned 250 Series rubber-core fuel hose.
The 250 Series hose is intended for conventional pump gasoline.
While occasional exposure to E85 may occur in some applications, the 250 Series hose is not intended for continuous or full-time E85 use.
This product should be considered a pump-gas chassis fuel-line replacement or upgrade, not an E85 fuel-system conversion.
Previously Offered as a PTFE / E85 Fuel Line
Long-time JBtuned customers may recognize this product from its previous PTFE / E85 configuration.
The product is now supplied as a 250 Series pump-gas fuel line.
The change was made because this product is designed around retaining the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter, and replacing only the chassis feed line with PTFE does not make the complete surrounding fuel system suitable for continuous E85 use.
The OEM filter and other original fuel-system components remain part of the system, so presenting the standalone feed line as an E85 conversion could give customers the wrong impression about the compatibility of the complete fuel system.
For that reason, customers ordering this product now receive the 250 Series pump-gas version.
Using This Line With a K-Swap
Although this product is not K-swap specific, it can be used as the chassis-feed upgrade for the JBtuned Level 1 K-Swap OEM Filter-to-Rail Fuel Line .
Level 1 retains the OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter and uses a simple returnless-style pump-gas arrangement.
Adding this tank-to-filter line allows a Level 1 customer to replace the remaining factory chassis feed while keeping that same OEM-filter-based system.
Using This Line With Custom Fuel Systems
This fuel line can also be used with compatible custom fuel systems that retain the OEM firewall-mounted filter.
Because the product is chassis-based rather than engine-specific, it may be suitable for many combinations of Honda engines, engine swaps, aftermarket fuel rails, and other custom fuel-system components.
If you are unsure whether your particular configuration can use this line, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Return-Style Fuel Systems
This product replaces only the chassis fuel-feed line.
If you are building a return-style fuel system and need to increase the capacity of the chassis plumbing, JBtuned generally recommends upgrading the feed and return together rather than increasing only the feed while continuing to rely on the smaller factory return line.
For compatible JBtuned feed-and-return or fuel tuck systems, consider the JBtuned Fuel System Extension Kit .
Need PTFE or Continuous E85 Capability?
If you were looking for the previous PTFE version because your build will run continuous E85 or requires broader fuel compatibility, this standalone OEM-filter fuel line is no longer the recommended solution.
For compatible K-swapped EG, EK, and DC chassis, consider the JBtuned Level 4 K-Swap Complete Fuel System , which replaces the complete chassis feed and return plumbing and is available with JBtuned 350 Series PTFE hose.
For other engine combinations, contact JBtuned for the appropriate complete PTFE fuel-system configuration.
What Comes With the Fuel Line
- Pre-assembled 6AN 250 Series chassis fuel-feed line
- OEM fuel-filter connection components
- Fuel-tank-side connection components for the configured application
- Required connection hardware for the assembled fuel line
Exact connection components may vary according to vehicle and fuel-system configuration.
Under-Car Fuel-Line Routing
The replacement fuel line runs underneath the vehicle between the fuel-tank area and OEM firewall-mounted fuel filter.
The line must be securely supported and routed away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving parts, and areas where excessive heat or abrasion may damage the hose.
Where appropriate for the chassis and installation, the replacement line can follow the factory underbody fuel-line routing area.
Installation Information
Installation replaces the original chassis fuel-feed line with a new 6AN feed running between the fuel-tank area and OEM firewall-mounted Honda fuel filter.
Inspect the OEM fuel filter, fuel-pump hanger, surrounding chassis components, and mounting points before installation.
All fuel plumbing must be securely mounted and kept away from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving parts, and excessive heat.
After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect every connection for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive fuel systems or AN fuel plumbing.
For off-road use only.
