Product Description
JBtuned J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System
The JBtuned J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System is designed for J-Series-swapped EG and EK Honda Civics and DC Acura Integras that need a complete performance fuel system from the fuel tank to the engine and back.
Unlike a basic engine-bay fuel-line conversion, this system replaces the factory chassis fuel plumbing with a complete aftermarket feed and return system configured specifically around a dual-rail Honda J-Series engine.
The system uses an 8AN main fuel feed that supplies two 6AN fuel-rail feeds, allowing both J-Series fuel rails to receive fuel directly rather than feeding one rail through the other.
Vehicle & Engine Applications
Designed for compatible J-Series-swapped applications including:
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC
The system is intended for Honda and Acura J-Series engine swaps using compatible aftermarket dual fuel rails and an external fuel pressure regulator.
Because J-Series swaps can vary considerably in engine, intake manifold, rail, regulator, and chassis configuration, contact JBtuned before ordering if your combination is unusual.
Dual-Feed J-Series Fuel-Rail Layout
A Honda J-Series engine uses two fuel rails, so this system is configured specifically to supply both rails as part of one complete fuel system.
The chassis feed is 8AN. Near the engine, the fuel supply divides into two 6AN feeds, with one feed supplying each fuel rail.
Fuel from both rails then returns to an external fuel pressure regulator, and the regulated fuel returns to the tank through a single 6AN return line.
- 8AN main fuel feed
- Dual 6AN fuel-rail feeds
- External fuel pressure regulator
- 6AN return to the fuel tank
This dual-feed configuration supplies both fuel rails directly rather than using one rail to feed the other.
Complete Tank-to-Engine Fuel-System Replacement
The JBtuned J-Series system replaces the factory fuel-line path with full-length aftermarket feed and return plumbing from the fuel tank to the engine and back.
This makes it suitable for modified, turbocharged, high-horsepower, and other performance-oriented J-Series swap applications that have moved beyond the requirements of the original chassis fuel system.
Fuel Compatibility
This fuel system is designed for use with conventional pump gasoline, E85 and ethanol-based fuels, and race fuels.
Fuel compatibility does not mean the vehicle must run E85. The system can also be used with conventional pump gasoline.
Also remember that E85-capable fuel plumbing does not automatically make a vehicle flex fuel. True flex-fuel operation requires an ethanol-content sensor along with compatible engine management and tuning.
Not sure about the difference? Read our guide to E85, PTFE fuel lines, and flex-fuel systems.
Fuel Rails
This system requires compatible aftermarket J-Series fuel rails and will not work with the factory OEM fuel rails.
Compatible aftermarket fuel rails can be included with the system. If you already have a compatible set of rails, select the appropriate option when ordering.
If you already own aftermarket rails and are unsure whether they are compatible with the JBtuned system, contact us before ordering.
External Fuel Pressure Regulator Required
This dual-feed system requires an external fuel pressure regulator.
Because different regulators use different inlet-port configurations, select your regulator inlet when ordering so the system can be configured for the regulator being used on the vehicle.
If you need a regulator, JBtuned offers the AEM Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator used with many aftermarket fuel-system installations.
Optional High-Flow Fuel Filter
The base J-Series system does not include a fuel filter.
Select the Fuel Filter Option if you want the system configured with the JBtuned high-flow inline fuel filter.
When selected, the fuel-system configuration is supplied with provisions for integrating the filter into the complete feed system.
Optional Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision
The Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision option does not include the actual ethanol-content sensor.
Selecting this option tells JBtuned to configure the return side of the fuel system for integration of a flex-fuel sensor.
True flex-fuel operation also requires a compatible sensor, wiring, engine management, and calibration.

View Flex-Fuel Sensor Quick-Disconnect Fittings.
Do not select the flex-fuel provision simply because you plan to run E85. An E85-compatible fuel system and a true flex-fuel system are two different things.
High-Heat Sleeve Option
J-Series swaps can place fuel-system components close to exhaust manifolds, turbochargers, downpipes, and other high-temperature components.
The optional High-Heat Sleeve provides additional thermal protection for fuel-hose sections that may be exposed to elevated engine-bay temperatures.
Actual heat exposure varies depending on the engine, exhaust manifold, turbocharger, and engine-bay configuration, so always maintain as much clearance from extreme heat as practical.
Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade
A complete aftermarket fuel system also requires a suitable connection at the fuel tank.
The optional JBtuned Civic / Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit allows the factory sending unit to be modified for use with the larger aftermarket feed and return system.
Select the fuel pump being used when ordering so the hanger upgrade can be configured for that pump.
If your vehicle already has a properly modified or compatible aftermarket fuel-pump hanger, the JBtuned hanger upgrade may not be required.
Need a Fuel Pump?
Fuel-pump requirements depend on the engine combination, fuel being used, and overall power goals.
Under-Car Fuel & Brake Line Brackets
For a clean underbody installation, pair this system with the JBtuned EG EK Civic / DC Integra Fuel & Brake Line Holder Brackets .
The brackets are available for the 8AN feed / 6AN return configuration used by this J-Series system and provide a clean way to secure the aftermarket fuel lines alongside the vehicle's brake lines.
These brackets are designed for aftermarket fuel lines and do not retain the factory OEM fuel-line configuration.
The EG/EK/DC bracket system also does not provide a position for the factory EVAP line, so the EVAP line must be removed or reconfigured as part of that installation.

Installation Information
This is a complete aftermarket fuel-system installation for a J-Series engine swap and requires removal or replacement of the original chassis fuel plumbing.
Installation requirements vary depending on chassis, J-Series engine, intake configuration, fuel rails, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, hanger, exhaust or turbo setup, and optional flex-fuel equipment.
All fuel lines must be securely mounted and routed away from exhaust heat, sharp edges, moving components, and areas where road debris or abrasion may damage them.
Verify all fuel-system connections for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Changes to injectors, fuel pressure, fuel type, flex-fuel operation, or other engine components may require appropriate ECU configuration and tuning.
Professional installation and tuning are recommended where applicable.
