Product Description
J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System – EG / EK Civic & DC Integra
The JBtuned J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System is the full tank-to-engine-and-back fuel-system solution for compatible EG and EK Honda Civics and DC Acura Integras running a Honda J-Series engine swap.
This is the Level 4 / Complete J-Series fuel-system option: “I need the full performance fuel system.”
Instead of building around the original chassis fuel plumbing, this system replaces the factory feed and return lines with a complete aftermarket AN fuel system designed specifically around the fuel requirements and dual-rail layout of a J-Series engine.
The system uses JBtuned 350 Series PTFE fuel hose throughout and is configured with an 8AN main feed, dual 6AN fuel-rail feeds, and a dedicated 6AN return.
Vehicle & Engine Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG
- 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK
- 1994-2001 Acura Integra DC
- Compatible Honda and Acura J-Series engine swaps
This system is designed around compatible aftermarket J-Series dual fuel rails and an external adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
J-Series swaps can vary considerably depending on engine, intake manifold, fuel rails, regulator, engine mounts, turbo system, and surrounding components.
If your combination is unusual or your components are not listed in the ordering options, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Level 4 / Complete – Full J-Series Fuel-System Replacement
The J-Series Complete Fuel System is designed for builds that have moved beyond a simple OEM-filter-based fuel-feed setup.
The factory chassis fuel plumbing is replaced with a complete aftermarket feed-and-return system running from the fuel tank to the engine and back.
This gives the fuel system dedicated aftermarket plumbing, broader fuel compatibility, larger feed capacity, and the flexibility needed for more demanding J-Series combinations.
Dual-Feed J-Series Fuel-Rail Layout
A Honda J-Series engine uses two fuel rails, so the JBtuned system is configured to supply both rails directly.
- 8AN main chassis fuel feed
- Dual 6AN fuel-rail feeds
- External fuel pressure regulator
- 6AN return to the fuel tank
The dual-feed configuration provides each compatible aftermarket fuel rail with its own feed rather than relying on one rail to supply the other.
Fuel from the rail system is regulated by the external fuel pressure regulator and returned to the tank through the dedicated 6AN return.
350 Series PTFE Hose – Pump Gas / E85 / Race Fuels
The JBtuned J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System currently uses JBtuned 350 Series PTFE fuel hose.
The 350 Series PTFE configuration is appropriate for:
- Conventional pump gasoline
- E85 and ethanol-based fuels
- Compatible race fuels
- Gasoline builds that may move to E85 later
Choosing PTFE does not mean the vehicle must run E85.
The 350 Series hose simply provides broader long-term fuel compatibility for customers building a complete J-Series fuel system.
E85 Compatible Does Not Automatically Mean Flex Fuel
A fuel system using 350 Series PTFE hose can provide the plumbing compatibility required for E85, but that alone does not make the vehicle flex fuel.
True flex-fuel operation requires an ethanol-content sensor, compatible engine-management electronics, and appropriate tuning that can respond to changing ethanol content.
Not sure which setup you need? Read our guide to E85, PTFE fuel lines, and flex-fuel systems.
Aftermarket J-Series Fuel Rails Required
This complete fuel system requires compatible aftermarket J-Series fuel rails.
The standard system is not designed to connect to the factory OEM J-Series fuel rails.
Compatible aftermarket fuel rails can be included with the system when selected, or the system can be configured around compatible rails you already own.
If you already have aftermarket J-Series fuel rails and are unsure whether they are compatible, contact JBtuned before ordering.
External Fuel Pressure Regulator Required
The J-Series Dual-Feed Complete Fuel System requires a compatible external adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
The external regulator controls fuel pressure and provides the regulated return path back to the fuel tank through the dedicated 6AN return line.
Different regulators use different connection configurations, so select the regulator connection appropriate for your setup when ordering.
If you need a regulator, JBtuned offers the AEM Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator .
Optional High-Flow Fuel Filter
The base J-Series Complete Fuel System does not include a fuel filter.
If you need a fuel filter, select the appropriate Fuel Filter option when ordering and JBtuned will configure the system accordingly.
The filter must be securely mounted and installed in an appropriate location as part of the complete fuel system.
Optional Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision
If you plan to install an ethanol-content sensor, select the Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision when ordering.
This option configures the fuel system to accommodate compatible flex-fuel sensor integration.
The ethanol-content sensor itself is not included with the provision.
If you need a genuine sensor, JBtuned offers the JBtuned Genuine Continental Flex-Fuel Sensor .
Compatible Flex-Fuel Sensor Quick-Disconnect Fittings are also available.
Do not select the Flex-Fuel Sensor Provision simply because you plan to run E85. An E85-compatible fuel system and a true flex-fuel system are two different things.
Flex-Fuel Sensor Mounting
An ethanol-content sensor should be securely supported rather than left hanging from the fuel plumbing.
JBtuned offers a Flex-Fuel Sensor Mounting Bracket for compatible installations.
High-Heat Protection
J-Series swaps can place fuel-system components near exhaust manifolds, turbochargers, wastegates, downpipes, and other high-temperature components.
The optional High Heat Sleeve provides additional thermal protection for fuel-hose sections that may operate near elevated engine-bay temperatures.
Every J-Series swap is different, so the installer must still verify adequate clearance between the fuel plumbing and all significant heat sources.
Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade
A complete aftermarket feed-and-return fuel system also requires suitable connections at the fuel tank.
If the factory sending unit has not already been properly configured for the new AN fuel system, consider the JBtuned Civic / Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit .
The correct hanger configuration depends on the chassis, fuel pump, and complete fuel-system setup.
Fuel Pump Selection
Fuel-pump requirements depend on the J-Series engine combination, fuel being used, expected fuel demand, and overall power goals.
A fuel pump is not included with the base complete system.
If you need a fuel pump, shop JBtuned Fuel Pumps .
Under-Car Fuel & Brake Line Brackets
The new 8AN feed and 6AN return lines must be securely supported underneath the vehicle.
For compatible EG, EK, and DC chassis, JBtuned offers JBtuned EG EK Civic / DC Integra Fuel & Brake Line Holder Brackets .
The brackets are available for the 8AN feed / 6AN return configuration used by this J-Series system and provide a clean way to support the aftermarket fuel lines while retaining the OEM brake hard lines.
The brackets are designed for aftermarket fuel lines and do not retain the factory OEM fuel-line configuration.
The EG/EK/DC bracket system also does not provide a mounting position for the factory EVAP line, so the EVAP plumbing must be removed or reconfigured as appropriate for the vehicle.

Installation Information
The J-Series Level 4 / Complete system replaces the original chassis fuel plumbing with a full aftermarket feed-and-return system.
Installation requires access to the fuel tank, underbody fuel-line routing, engine-bay fuel-system components, fuel rails, external regulator, and fuel-pump hanger connections.
All fuel lines must be securely mounted and routed away from exhaust heat, sharp edges, moving parts, and areas where road debris or abrasion may damage the hose.
Turbocharged and other high-heat installations require additional attention to fuel-line clearance and thermal protection.
After installation, pressurize the fuel system and carefully inspect every connection for leaks before starting or operating the vehicle.
Changes to fuel pressure, injectors, fuel type, flex-fuel operation, or other engine-system components may require appropriate ECU configuration and tuning.
Professional installation and tuning are recommended where applicable.
For off-road use only.
