Product Description
B-Series Complete Flex-Fuel System
The JBtuned B-Series Complete Flex-Fuel System is a full tank-to-engine-and-back fuel-system replacement for compatible EG and EK Honda Civics and DC Acura Integras equipped with a B-Series engine.
This system replaces the factory chassis fuel plumbing with a complete JBtuned 350 Series PTFE feed-and-return system and is specifically configured around the installation of a compatible ethanol-content sensor.
Choose either a 6AN or 8AN main fuel feed. The return remains 6AN with either configuration.
This is the complete-system option for B-Series owners who want to replace the original fuel plumbing, move to PTFE hose, and incorporate an ethanol-content sensor into the fuel-system layout.
Vehicle & Engine Fitment
- 1992-1995 Honda Civic EG with B-Series engine

Final fitment depends on the chassis, aftermarket fuel rail, external fuel pressure regulator, fuel-pump hanger, and other components installed on the vehicle.
If your combination is unusual or your components are not listed in the available options, contact JBtuned before ordering.
Complete Tank-to-Engine-and-Back Fuel System
The JBtuned B-Series Complete Flex-Fuel System replaces the original chassis fuel-feed and return plumbing rather than continuing to rely on the factory Honda fuel hard lines.
The system provides dedicated aftermarket fuel plumbing between the fuel tank and engine bay while also replacing the factory firewall-mounted fuel-filter arrangement.
The complete system is built around:
- Choice of 6AN or 8AN main fuel feed
- Dedicated 6AN fuel return
- JBtuned 350 Series PTFE fuel hose
- Large-body inline fuel filter
- Compatible aftermarket B-Series fuel rail
- External adjustable fuel pressure regulator
- Fuel-system configuration for compatible ethanol-content-sensor installation
350 Series PTFE Hose – Pump Gas / E85 / Race Fuels
This system uses JBtuned 350 Series PTFE fuel hose for both the feed and return plumbing.
350 Series PTFE is appropriate for:
- Conventional pump gasoline
- E85 and ethanol-based fuels
- Compatible race fuels
- Gasoline builds that may move to ethanol-based fuel later
Choosing this system does not mean the vehicle has to run E85.
The 350 Series PTFE hose provides broad fuel compatibility whether the vehicle is operated on conventional pump gasoline, E85, or another compatible fuel.
E85 Compatibility & Flex-Sensor Integration Are Different Things
It is important to separate fuel compatibility from ethanol-content-sensor integration.
JBtuned 350 Series PTFE hose makes the fuel plumbing appropriate for pump gasoline, E85, and other compatible fuels.
The reason to choose this Complete Flex-Fuel System instead of the JBtuned B-Series Full Tucked Fuel System is that this version is specifically configured around the installation of an ethanol-content sensor.
An ethanol-content sensor is commonly used to provide real-time fuel-composition information to an ECU for a sensor-based flex-fuel strategy. Other engine-management strategies may exist depending on the ECU and tuning platform being used.
The fuel-system plumbing itself does not determine how the ECU manages changing ethanol content. The engine-management system must be configured and tuned appropriately for the fuel and control strategy being used.
Not sure which setup you need? Read our guide to E85, PTFE fuel lines, and flex-fuel systems.
Configured for an Ethanol-Content Sensor
The Complete Flex-Fuel System is specifically laid out to incorporate a compatible ethanol-content sensor into the fuel plumbing.
This allows customers planning a sensor-based flex-fuel setup to purchase the complete fuel system already configured for sensor integration rather than modifying the standard complete system later.
The ethanol-content sensor itself is not included with the base fuel-system kit.
Need an Ethanol-Content Sensor?
JBtuned offers the JBtuned Genuine Continental Flex-Fuel Sensor for compatible installations.
Compatible quick-disconnect fittings are available as an option when purchasing the sensor.
Already Have a Compatible Sensor?
If you already own a compatible Continental-style ethanol-content sensor, JBtuned also offers Flex-Fuel Sensor Quick-Disconnect Fittings individually.
These fittings connect the sensor's quick-connect ports to the compatible AN fuel-system plumbing.
The standalone fitting is sold individually, so a typical sensor installation requires two fittings.
Flex-Fuel Sensor Mounting
The ethanol-content sensor should be securely supported rather than allowing the fuel plumbing to carry the weight of the sensor assembly.
For compatible installations, JBtuned offers the JBtuned Flex-Fuel Sensor Mounting Bracket .
Sensor Wiring & Engine Management
This fuel system provides the plumbing configuration for ethanol-content-sensor installation. It does not automatically provide the electronics or ECU configuration required to use the sensor signal.
For compatible Hondata S300 applications, JBtuned offers the JBtuned Flex-Fuel Sensor Plug-N-Play Harness .
Confirm sensor input requirements, wiring, ECU compatibility, and tuning strategy for your specific engine-management system before completing the installation.
Large-Body High-Flow Fuel Filter
The B-Series Complete Flex-Fuel System includes a large-body inline fuel filter with a serviceable 6-micron stainless-steel element.
The filter replaces the original Honda firewall-mounted fuel-filter arrangement as part of the complete aftermarket fuel system.
6AN or 8AN Fuel Feed
Choose either a 6AN or 8AN main fuel feed based on the requirements of your complete fuel system.
The return remains 6AN with either feed configuration.
Fuel-pump capability, injector demand, fuel type, expected engine output, regulator, and the rest of the fuel system should all be considered when selecting feed-line size.
Aftermarket B-Series Fuel Rail Required
The B-Series Complete Flex-Fuel System requires a compatible aftermarket B-Series fuel rail.
This configuration is not designed around the factory OEM B-Series fuel rail and rail-mounted regulator arrangement.
Select the aftermarket fuel rail installed on the engine when ordering so JBtuned can provide the appropriate connection configuration.
If your fuel rail is not listed, contact JBtuned before ordering.
External Fuel Pressure Regulator Required
This system requires a compatible external adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
The external regulator provides fuel-pressure control and the regulated return path required by the complete feed-and-return system.
Different regulators use different inlet configurations, so select the appropriate regulator connection when ordering.
If you need a regulator, JBtuned offers the AEM Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator .
Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade
Replacing the factory chassis fuel plumbing requires appropriate aftermarket feed-and-return connections at the fuel tank.
For compatible applications, JBtuned offers the JBtuned Civic / Integra OEM Fuel Pump Hanger Upgrade Kit .
The hanger configuration varies according to the fuel pump being used, so select the appropriate fuel-pump configuration when ordering.
If the factory sending unit has not already been configured for an aftermarket feed-and-return fuel system, the hanger should be addressed as part of the complete-system installation.
Fuel Pump Selection
Fuel-pump requirements depend on the B-Series engine combination, fuel being used, injector demand, and expected power level.
Larger fuel lines do not by themselves increase the output capability of the fuel pump.
If you need a fuel pump, shop JBtuned Fuel Pumps .
Under-Car Fuel-Line Mounting
Because this system replaces the factory chassis fuel plumbing, the new feed and return lines must be securely supported underneath the vehicle.
For compatible EG, EK, and DC chassis, JBtuned offers JBtuned EG EK Civic / DC Integra Fuel & Brake Line Holder Brackets .
These brackets are designed to organize compatible aftermarket fuel lines while allowing the factory brake hard lines to remain in place.
Select the bracket configuration that matches the feed and return sizes used by your system.
